I went to Jersey Mike's on E. Vlly Pkwy with my husband and my service dog. Immediately when we walked in, the manager yelled out, "There are no dogs allowed". Her tone was rude and abrasive. I let her know that my dog is a service dog that we've eaten there several times. Then, I let her know that she made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of everyone. She didn't apologize, she kept her rude demeanor. Then she challenged me asking what two tasks my dog performs. I let her know the two tasks. Then, I let her know that I would never eat there again and left.
I've eaten there with my dog several times with no problem and had a nice experience each time, but this one time with that manager lady was a huge problem and disappointment.
This manager lady was unattractive and overweight. I know that people mistreat others when they're unhappy with themselves.
It's too bad b/c I really do love Jersey Mike's sandwiches, and so do my friends and family that I've eaten there with. Now we will never go...

They started making the second order first, and then informed us halfway through making that sandwich that they didn’t have any gluten-free bread thawed out. That is poor planning or just laziness (or both), as Jersey Mike’s is known for its gluten-free sandwiches and the bread should be ready and available just like any other bread there. They were not apologetic although they did offer to make a bowl, which frankly isn’t why I go to a sandwich shop in the first place. We ended up paying for the regular sandwich (although tempted to leave without) and then we drove 10 minutes away the opposite direction of where we were headed, to another Jersey Mike’s to complete our order. [The staff at the other location on Centre City Parkway were great- both helpful...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on a weekday afternoon to find this place totally poppin'. In my head it was an Easy Coast take on Subway...nothing special to go out of my way for. I was so wrong! I ordered the first Philly cheese steak I have had since moving back from New Jersey and it was absolutely fantastic! The best part was when they toasted everything the bread didn't end up crunchy beyond my liking. It was warm, soft but not under toasted which made for a great sandwich. I find myself craving the Philly cheese steak regularly now and that is all thanks to this jersey Mike's fine example of a stellar sub!...
