TERRIBLE customer service from OWNER. At least he looked like the owner. I came here with my husband because I was craving a smoothie during my pregnancy and we walk in and the older gentleman that was on the counter looks at us doesn’t say anything and my husband asks him for a smoothie with watermelon and the guy told him “no that takes too long.” So then I kind of looked at my husband and then we looked back at him and I was like it’s OK like let’s just go and the guy was like. “Oh actually I guess I can make it then” since he saw that it was a dealbreaker for us. Mr. Sam treated us to the wholesome (not to mention delicious) family experience we have had in a long time tonight. After eating pizza nearby, we walked to the local gelato place, but the line was down the street, so we decided to try the ’Rolled Ice Cream’ advertised at Sam’s, where there was no line. We were not disappointed. We had two toddlers in our group, and Mr. Sam heard them both asking for strawberry ice cream. He immediately asked the girls if they wanted to ‘help’ make it with him, and long story short treated our families to a fun adventure of going behind the counter and watching him through the whole process of making strawberry rolled ice cream, blended with fresh strawberries.
