“Holy c&$” That’s what I said after a few bites into the “Seafood Special” dinner that I ordered. How do you describe a sudden Saint Pauli moment? Would you kneel down and bow? Should I jump up and down and shout “wholly wholly wholly”? I do drive around a lot in Cleveland area by calling and, although I am not called to be a preacher of the holy gospel, I proclaim I preach the good news to all the hungry bellys in this town… I acknowledge first my arrogance… I thought I know all the good Chinese takeout restaurants that God had bestowed upon this blessed city. Alas I was wrong! And yes it was a definite providence that I was in the neighborhood! The dish that was in front of me was almost unreal… Fresh taste I felt on my tongue. Still the right balance of all the veggies and seafood. Yes. I must admit this is a rarity. So here I preach to you now! Ye all come here and bow! Join the feast and celebrate the life! Come ye all to the altar. Dash to the door you all the hungry Or use Doordash if you can’t walk! P.S. I read the reviews by some others that didn’t rate the food here very highly. That’s too bad. Each restaurant has strength and weakness. I rated this takeout restaurant very high because of the fresh ingredients that I noticed. Really I have not seen better anywhere else. Plus good taste. I will be checking out other dishes...
Read moreI wish I could give a higher review because my family loves the food, but this recent time there was a food error that could’ve been deadly. My son has a severe seafood allergy he orders the same thing every time for years orange chicken combo it comes with a veggies egg roll today it came with a shrimp egg roll! When I called to see if the menu had changed she said no I informed of the error she offered a new egg roll I declined it’s not about a new egg roll just wanted to inform of the error and make sure I didn’t miss a menu change after I politely declined she hung up on me! No apology no recognition nothing I will not be a...
Read moreI used to absolutely love this place, but things have changed so much in that time. The past two times I ordered for my family, the fried rice had no pork, no fried egg, no green onions and barely even onion. I won't be ordering from here again because the bourbon chicken used to have this wonderful, dark and thick sauce, yet is now served with an overly sweet and almost watery sauce with no other flavor to it. The szechuan chicken was also horrid. It actually had no flavor whatsoever. No garlic and no spice either. To make things worse, the egg rolls were hard and tasted like they weren't...
