Ashley's Deli — Restaurant in Eugene

I stopped in to gamble and enjoy a few cups of coffee and instantly regretted my visit. The employee working was very rude. No warm welcome, when she asked me if I wanted something to drink (several minutes after sitting at a machine) and I replied with a polite confirmation of coffee for my desired beverage of choice she sighed, rolled her eyes and told me yeah but I had to "make it myself cause she doesn't know how I like it". Grabs a cup and was like "here" abruptly. Then as I'm making it she comes over and tells me how I should make it and then sarcastically says or not" after I already began making it my way. I was still polite and mentioned that I try it her way next cup and thanked her for the suggestion. Again another eye roll and sigh. Then after playing $9 within a minute I sat down to finish my cup and was thinking about maybe switching to another machine but was told I had to leave rudely in front of all the other guests like I was just some worthless bum loitering. I understand there are people who may be a problem or overstay there welcome but her judgement and attitude was incredibly POOR to say the least; much like HER SERVICE! I told her I was planning on finishing my complimentary beverage if that was okay. She then told me from across the room that "she can't let me just sit there and use WI-FI or whatever I was doing. Very insulting and embarrassed me in front of a room of people. As I was now being stared at and judged for no reason I quickly left as asked and was completely shocked of how I was treated. I used to work for this company and know her performance and customer service was completely NOT ACEPTABLE and am sure Sony would not approve of her behavior. Will never step foot in any of their locations if she's on shift again! Not sure why they call this a deli. It's a Lottery Gaming room, plain and simple. Most of these places sell snacks. They're all supposed to serve customers free water, soda, etc. Most do not do this any more. This place does, or at least the person working does. Very nice! And if it calls itself a deli, I'm sure they'll put together a sandwich for you as well. Sell you cigarettes and Scratchers, too. Anyway, the day I went was warm - so the a/c felt good, the place was tidy and comfortable. Having someone come to me with an ice cold soda while I sat at a machine playing was great! Even if it cost me $30 (losing machine) before I had a chance to drink...

I love coming over and playing games!! I haven't tried any. Food well actually except cookies so I guess they are food!! I forget the little blonde gals name but she's the best worker here!! She's the petite pretty one with wavyish blondihair!! She's really good luck for me!! We all love her here!! She's friendly, has a great personality, makes sure we have all out needs met, drinks and cashing tickets like crazy!! All positive vibes with her!! Love u girl!!
