I'd call this a hidden gem, but it's not really hidden being right on Coburg Rd. I stopped at Burrito Amigos last week for lunch, and when I got back in the car, my client asked me to run in and grab a menu. When I went through the door, the most wonderful smell to delight my senses hit. I immediately regretted my lunch from Burrito Amigos (don't get me wrong, they're good) When I got back in the car, my client looked over the menu and thought the same thing about regretting our choice. So the next day, we tried Bellizzi's Pizza Joint for lunch. It was hard to make a choice of what to try first. We settled on a Stromboli for each of us and some ravioli for another friend who would be joining us. We also ordered a baked ziti to try later. All three of us were immediately blown away with how delicious everything was. I had the lunch Philly Stromboli and almost couldn't believe how good it was. I ate the entire thing, even though I was so full partway through the second half. I powered through. Needless to say, I ended up in a Stromboli induced food coma for the next hour and a half. We both raved about it the rest of the day. My client enjoyed it so much that she had it twice over the weekend, and today suggested we eat here again. She had me look through the fridge first to make sure we didn't have anything we needed to eat, and we were both ecstatic when I didn't find anything. I went in to pick up our order and decided to order one for my buddy so he could try it as well. I was pleased to hear it would only take 15 minutes to whip it out. While I waited, I had a nice conversation with the gentleman preparing my food, who turned out to be the owner. I made sure to leave him a decent tip for his quick service and was on my way. I'm enjoying my Philly as I write this. The atmosphere is great, well decorated, and you can watch them work as they have an open prep area so you can watch the magic happen and see the love they put into their food. Plenty of seating available, and a quarter operated pinball machine to play while you wait. Friendly staff make you feel very welcome. 17/10, HIGHLY recommended, I will absolutely eat here again, and I'm looking...

Awful customer service there were three younger girls working there and when we came in we were not greeted although we were the only ones in the building the girl “assisting” us rolled her eyes when we said we didnt want the pre made slices that she automatically was trying to pull from but wanted to order two pies to go she scolded us the whole time mind you this was about 5 pm 12/9/2024 so there was no need for such an attitude so early on in the evening i understand being tired and not so peppy later on into a shift but she obviously rolled her eyes at us and was scolding the whole time my grandma even left a $10 dollar tip despite the fact they were so rude and the girl with the bandana still barely gave a smile. We payed 68 dollar for the two pies which took over 40 minutes although no one else was in there and maybe 2 people came in during that period. I am completely disappointed by those who have been hired they are by no means welcoming or accommodating. Once again another girl who was sort of blonde with two braids in her hair was rude to my grandma for asking for more parmesan after expressing that it was not enough for two pizzas as she only gave 5 small packets for two large 18 in pizzas so my grandma asked for some more and when she thought she was looking away rolled her eyes and grinned to her co worker as if it was coming out of her pocket or an inconvenience. I can expect this from a chain but a locally owned establishment should be able to weed out bad...

I really want to like this place. But it sucks.

Coming from NJ, I think you could use a trip back east to literally any Italian pizza joint and get a lesson in flavor. I’ve ordered twice, first time was July 4th, 2022. It was god awful and the wait on the food was excessive. I wanted to try a bunch of the menu items and every one disappointed me. I think I ordered a pizza, chicken Parmesan and meatballs. I blamed this piss-poor experience on the fact I was ordering on a holiday.

Fast forward to September 2024. Decided to give it another go with a DoorDash order. The meal arrived on time which was great and looked amazing! I ordered chicken manicotti, which came with garlic bread and a side salad, along with a Stromboli to eat the next day.

My first question is, why do you use so much salt?!? It’s virtually inedible. How about cutting your sauce with a little sugar to cut down the acidic flavor? The salad, swimming in dressing. Some people aren’t into floating soggy croutons, try putting it on the side.

You can have a crappy attitude and “witty” clap-back review responses when your food is 5-stars. You only have such high reviews because your feeding lack-luster Italian American food to people on the Pacific Northwest who don’t have high standards.

The portions are fantastic. Too bad the food is awful....

We ordered a "take and bake" pizza online with a 30-minute lead time and arrived 10 minutes later because we were nearby. We felt bad for being early, and the staff were unnecessarily apologetic for the order not being ready yet while clearly working hard to keep up with all the orders coming in and the customers enjoying their pizza in house. We did not mind hanging out and enjoying the smells of all the delicious pizzas as they cooked. Staff kept us updated on our pizza, and it was done in line with the time we were quoted. I would have had a slice while we waited, but they did not have vegan options by the slice, which is not a surprise 😉 As for the pizza 🍕 I will say that it was quite tasty 😋. The cook time listed is 15-20 minutes, and I'll say that 20-22 minutes was necessary to fully cook the crust, which is very thick. I really appreciate that they chop the spinach into small pieces so it's easier to eat than others like Papa Murphy, who leave it huge. If you like Italian style pizza 🍕 then definitely give Bellizzi's a shot. They may be a bit more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for, not just in food but also in service. Great job, guys. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! P.S. make sure to grab some fresh marinara sauce to enjoy your crust the right way 😋
