Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Eugene

I haven't been to Dutch in a long time prior to yesterday, but if all of them are like this, I'll not be going back. It is no longer operating as a drive up coffee stand, instead it's a combo of all the worst parts of a drive through car wash and a sonic. You park and wait for service but nothing explains that to the customers at all so you awkwardly drive to the stand as usual only to sit there forever until you realize people parked randomly are having coffee walked to them. Finally once you've waited a bit someone comes out to take your order but there's no menus or any info anymore because you're not at the stand. So you've got to awkwardly ask what's even available and since the interaction is so painful you just take whatever the first thing you hear that isn't bad is. Then back to waiting awkwardly because you're just sitting in a parking lot of a completely different business. Finally after the 30 seconds of painful human interaction, get your drink, just to find out they completely butchered it and it isn't even remotely close to what you ordered. Perhaps it's the standard all the other locations have set, but coming to this dutch bros is just the worst. On top of the parking lot being absolute chaos, the staff very rarely has it together which causes the line to be so painfully long and slow. I could over look that if it didn't feel like my drinks were also purposely made wrong or carelessly made if I don't tip. As a regular I tip as much as I can but sometimes I have just enough for coffee and that's it. I also have a severe milk allergy and theyll hand me a drink thats pure milk and a drop of coffee and promise it's oatmilk. They know my drink and know my name yet there's still a massive disconnect where I feel almost uncomfortable going there as if I'm inconveniencing the staff by showing up. I was a regular at another dutch bros location for a couple of years and I absolutely loved the staff and made the poor assumptions all dutch bros are like that. I really hope the river road DB reopens soon so I can start going there, hopefully with better luck. If not I'll have to try out the human...

I’ve been coming to this location since they opened, but sadly after the way I was treated today I will choose to go to either gateway location or human bean which is way closer to me.. this was my favorite location because I lived over there when they first opened, but employees have changed.. today for whatever reason my card wouldn’t go through, even though I was able to prove I had money on my account and it was probably a system error.. the girl working the window didn’t know what to do, so a guy assisted me and treated me like complete garbage.. I told him I was sorry and I had money in my account and was still treated badly. I left on the verge of tears.. this was at 1230 on 9/1/2021.
