Brail's Restaurant — Restaurant in Eugene

Today I went and the menu was sticky and gross and dirty, and when I told my server, she just grabbed it and didn't say anything and walked away like I was bothering or ridiculous... Not sure, but she certainly didn't thank me for my time in speaking up to let them know their menus are dirty

But the main thing was that she was a terrible server so Michael and I heard her, because she has a very loud voice from the other room tell another table that she was the general manager.I've been a server many times in many places and I just have to say that having the general manager be a server changes how she treats the customers. She never once came and asked how my food was, she didn't check on me so Michael and I got up to get my own to go container.she loudly spoke in the room next to my table looking at another Employee the entire time talking loudly about how she tried to go outside but some man was talking to her so she tried to go to a different place and another man pulled up and was bothering her; The entire time she was saying this ridiculously loudly next to my table she was laying my bill down on my table which she did without a word to me without glancing at me and then walked away.

Servers are usually really nice to their tables because they have to be because they rely on tips, apparently this gal is the general manager and does it need to be attentive, smile, be nice, check back & ask if everything is ok, ask if anything else is needed, look at customers as she drops off check... she is a not a good server

Found this place a couple years ago and it was my favorite breakfast spot in Eugene until now. Will never be returning to this restaurant after how me and other customers were treated today. Service was horrible.

Was told 15 min wait. Took 30min to get called to be seated for a table of 2, at the same time a 6top was called to be seated who maybe waited 10 min.

Waiter took us through the restaurant to find our table, he then pushed tables together and sat the 6top. Apologized to us since there is no tables available and asked us to wait again. Said we would get next available table.

Another 20 min pass by when an Asian lady (I assume the owner?) come out screaming at everyone to come inside and brought them through the restaurant, were it turned into a free for all, find a empty seat and seat yourself i guess. There was literally a group that just parked and walked in and was able to be seated before us and other people who have been waiting.

We let the staff know what had just happened and even showed them on their own list that our name was circled and said next. Told them we have been waiting almost an hour to be seated and yet people who are just showing up are getting seated before us. All they said was sorry and they will get us the next avaible seat, like it wasnt a big deal. the same thing they told us 20 min ago.

We left along with other groups who were fed up with their service. We went to the original pancake house that was even more busy and got seated in about 10 min.

My Fiance and I have ate at Brail's Resturant a couple times before and have had great experiences with great food. Were not from Eugene but found Brail's a couple years back and fell in love with the food and atmosphere. Today we went back, excited and hungry. We put our name on the list and waited to be called. We were told 15 to 20 minutes and after waiting about 25 minutes we were called back with a 6 top that waited maybe 10 minutes. We followed the man back where he seated the 6 top first instead of us and then we were left with no table and asked to go back outside and wait some more. The waiter then proceeded to tell the man up front that we were first to be called after not getting a table, we waited another 20 minutes when an Asian woman came out and yelled at everyone waiting outside to follow her to the back if you want a table. Like how unprofessional to yell out at everyone waiting for a table, that if you follow her your guaranteed a table? It was basically a free for all to find a table! What about the people on the waitlist that have been waiting!!??Needless to say we never got a table after waiting for about an hour while be treated like trash, while multiple parties were seated before us. We will not be returning after this and honestly so...
