Would be negative 100 stars if possible. This isnāt about the food, itās ihop, itās all the same. However Being from LA, we are used to IHOPās being open 24 hours, so we came into this one around 8:20. First, there are no operating hours on the door, it just opened, but still, that should be standard, especially for a business that has a TON of locations that are open 24/7. After taking our order our waitress didnāt come back to make sure the food was okay, we had never ending pancakes and she never came to ask if we wanted more, we had to ask for silverware, salt and pepper, no drink refills, she was sweeping right next to us most of the time and after she dropped the check off, and my bf was able to ask for more pancakes, I realized, due to her painfully obvious attitude that they were probably closing soon. When he asked for more she was really passive aggressive and walked away so fast I couldnāt ask for more also, keep in mind itās still only about 8:45-8:50, she also didnāt come back for the check til she had his pancakes and again walked away too fast to go ahead and ask for a to go box. I feel like it wouldāve been beneficial to tell people ordering never ending pancakes that late that itās totally fine but they do close at 9 so put in your Last order at such and such time...anyway, we still walked out at 9:58 so there was genuinely no reason to ignore us the whole time and rush us out. Iāve worked in many places and it sometimes sucks but if a table comes in at 8:15 and you close at 9, thatās still plenty of time to give them proper service and get out on time. It would also help if you had operating hours up. But god forbid we eat there and make any of the servers serve anybody, Iām terribly sorry. Lmao. Will absolutely be telling everybody possible not to come here. I donāt usually Karen, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all, our server Brandon was amazing. Very friendly, respectful, and professional. The lead cook however, was demeaning, unsanitary and our food all came out cold. He used a dirty knife to cut our waffles, and got avocado and vegetable bits all over it, the cook told us he didn't clean his knife. Our pancakes had burnt food chunks all over, leading me to believe the griddle hadn't been cleaned. The chicken was old and made us feel sick. I love food and am a great cook and I know old chicken when I taste it. Rancid and slimy.
The lead cook came out to check on our table. He was out in the seating area five or six times during the hour we waited for our food. Which is surprising since he was talking about how many orders he had to make all at once. We told him our complaints and he offered no remedy, only explained to me how "sometimes food gets pushed out from under the heat lamp and then the temperature starts to decline"... I asked if there was any way he could heat it up, he then grabbed our plate and microwaved it all. It came back slightly warmer than room temperature.
Our server requested for the food to be remade for us (Thank you Brandon!) and the head cook refused to redo the chicken. Just because he didn't want to. He was able to remake the eggs, sausage and french toast, the sausage wasn't hot still, and there was a small black hair on our plate underneath the french toast. We are blonde haired people. It must have come from the kitchen. I just pray it wasn't a pubic hair.
All I wanted to do was take my girlfriend out to get pancakes after a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was at IHOP on West 11th in Eugene, Oregon and ordered the salmon dinner which was $20. I took one bite threw up. The rest of my napkin couldnāt swallow it. The smell of it was so bad that I even had that taste in my mouth overnight, I told the waitress about it. She offered a different meal, but wouldnāt let me have any money back. She said she thought it smelled fine then it took another 20 to 30 minutes to get the tri-tips which were tough couldnāt eat those hardly itās disheartening to know that other customers are going to have to experience This rotten salmon. The waitress said she wasnāt gonna take it off the menu that worries me for other people they were not accommodating the customer thatās for sure !donāt eat there.
You would think that a manager would comp something after you took a bite of rotten salmon. Iām not sure if the waitresses are taught to tell, but this is a good way for this company to go under by getting sued for poisoning people when a customer tells you something is rotten. You should probably look into it Instead of disagreeing with the customer and telling the customer that she thought it smelled fine, you would think that somebody would at least look into the details. Go back into the freezer and check things out before you tell the customer theyāre wrong.. And then charge them for it and give them tough tips. Thatās not a way to make tips either.! I wonāt be going...
