5/5/20 - I have gotten pizza (pretty much the same one) for years at this location. Extra Large Works, - black olives, - green peppers, + extra cheese, and + artichoke hearts. This time was a deal breaker though. Pizza barely looked like it had a normal amount of cheese on it, the pepperoni was on top of everything like it had been cooked separate then put on the pizza, the toppings tasted like twigs, and all in all it just wasn't worth it. This has been a down hill battle for a long time now, and that's why I've ordered less from them. Now I won't order at all. I haven't even bothered to look at the other pizza as it's not even worth it. I wouldn't even want replacement pizzas anyway, because it was just so bad. There were 2 good things though. The wings we got with the order were good, and the deliver driver was super nice! Those two things aren't enough to keep my business. I'll just order take and bake from Grubhub from now on. Better pizza,...
Read moreThere for me during some of my darkest times. Not Papa John himself, but his pizza. After a night of drinking, Papa John's pizza always seemed like the only option for me. I would always get a large pizza for myself. I'd pick it up from the delivery guy and go straight to my room to try and avoid any of my roommates asking for a slice. I'd then come out in the next 10mins with an empty box. My roommates would sometimes question the empty pizza box the next day, but at that point the deed was done. I had no shame in telling them that I ate a large pizza by myself at 1 in the morning. That large pizza was always able to fill any void or emptiness I was feeling at the time. Not until my pizza/alcohol hangover wore off would I have to face reality again. Throughout college, Papa John's was a huge emotional support system for me, maybe not the healthiest one, but definitely the tastiest. Thank you for the delicious...
Read moreNew Call Center is Terrible... We've been ordering here for years and I've always liked that the local staff are polite, fast and super responsive to taking phone orders. Only takes 1-3 minutes to place an order which is great! Recently - the calls have been routed to a call center and the process is unbearably slow, difficult, with complicated step by step confirmations and language barriers. (it's pizza - it should be easy!) I normally like online apps - but the online ordering at Papa Johns is really clunky - and compared to a phone call - the phone call has always been easier and faster (especially if I'm calling from the road when picking up kids from sports). The new call center is so bad though - I had to leave the conversation after 5 very unproductive minutes. :( Will be looking for a way to contact the local store directly or will order...
