We've eaten here multiple times since they opened a week ago and have yet to be disappointed. Service is excellent, food is a hit with our teenagers, frozen Dole whip and spicier version are so yummy, and they were happy to deal with my diet restrictions. Their spicy Moa Lolo fries are so good. The Saigon Beef is delicious! Our kids love Spam and were happy to see it on the menu. I cannot recommend Tita's enough! I have read a few reviews that people are upset that the previous owners sold, but you're not giving things a fair shake, and have obviously not run a restaurant before. I'll continue to patronize Tita's. My family loves it and the service we received.

If you liked Ron's, you'll LOVE Tita's. This is the best Island food you'll find in the Eugene/Springfield area and there are additional locations coming soon. The owners and staff are unmatched and you're likely to see some familiar faces. Their version of the plate lunch blows everyone else out of the water in every way. Price, portion, quality and enjoyability. Try it all. They have the best teriyaki chicken but you'll find so many other fusion flavors that you'll definitely want to branch out. Like it spicy? They've got that. Picky kids? No problem. Finish with the pineapple soft serve that will get you over till your next Disneyland Dole Whip.

We’ve been here twice now and love it! Huli chicken was good as was Saigon beef but my favorites are the Mac salad (2nd best I’ve ever had after one I had from Da Bald Guy food truck in North Shore Oahu) and best teriyaki sauce I’ve ever tasted. Their Lolo fries were my favorite dish so far and unlike anything I’ve had; waffle fries, teriyaki chicken, spam, pineapple, and spicy mayo. I can’t wait to try more. The customer service is excellent, you can tell they really care!

I know that people are sad that Ron's Hawaiian Grill is no more. They were classic Eugene, to be sure... but their ability to make a legit Hawaiian lunch plate was questionable. Tita's tightened up the menu a bit and brought in a more modern mix of flavors for their proteins. Also, they have pineapple whip. I ordered a grape fanta with my meal and the owner was very excited to hand me a cup of whip and suggest I make a float with it by adding the fanta. Genius. My mark down on atmosphere is the result of the bathroom setup, as the bathroom is shared with other businesses... and you need a key to open it... so this key is attached to a giant spoon so it doesn't get lost... geat... but that thing goes into the bathroom with person after person... I promise that key is covered in poop-related bacteria and is touched by many unwashed hads. Gross. As such, I tend to grab my food to go. Ron's got the same...

A friend of mine got me the Saigon beef. The beef was really chewy and reminded me of wet dog food and the Sauce was meh. Mac salad was super vinegary and bland just not enjoyable to eat. The plate came with hardly any meat. For $15, i should see more than 8 ounces of canned dog food saved for the apocalypse 5 years ago. Rice was also overcooked, but honestly that’s better than some of the other issues. Mao Lolo fries were spicy, which sucked because the menu didn't say they're spicy and I wasn’t in the mood for that. Also, I didn't have hardly any meat on them. So portions clearly aren’t a strong suit. I don't think I'll be coming back. Also, the plate had a pineapple skewer on it tossed across the plate through the Mac salad and meat, so I had to endure eating pineapple with mayo on it. A pleasure I wish...

The food was good and yummy no doubt. But the value from what Ron’s Island brought to the table is just not even comparable. I would bring my two kids with me to get a large #6 and it would easily feed us all. It had a large helping of chicken and a large helping of Mac salad to split with no questions. Now we get a small amount of chicken that would have been on a Ron’s small and the Mac salad follows right in line with the skimpy portions. To add to the disappointment you get an extra scoop of rice that you don’t need as a side. Happy that Ron and his wife were able to sell and enjoy life, as they deserve it. But but the value to dollar will keep me away from this new company that has taken over. Super bummed, this was a staple for us for so long. Gonna miss you Ron and Team, you guys brought it with...
