Ordered: Cream Cheese Spring Rolls Chicken Red Curry (extra spicy)
Delivery: $3 charge; $3 tip 50 minutes from order to delivered
Service: Ordered over the phone. Was put on hold 3 times and each time was picked up by a different person. Each person was genuinely friendly, however. There was a good deal of difficulty, though, determining if I was within delivery range. The whole ordering process was more effort than it should have been, but I'm in their "system" now so future orders should be better.
Quality: Cream cheese spring rolls are not even close to authentic, I know, but so good! They were lightly fried, not overly filled, and a good appetizer portion.
At first I thought the curry was a bit lacking in spices, but it ended up having more of a "slow burn" - with each passing bite the flavors and heat built. The veggies and chicken were cut to the appropriate sizes as well.
Overall Impressions: I might have taken more issue with the labored ordering if it weren't for the fact that this is one of the only Thai restaurants in town that deliver. I finished my meal feeling satisfied and would not have a problem ordering from...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The owner is from Thailand! Which helps in every aspect of the food. Nothing is “store-bought”, and everything is homemade with her own recipes. Very authentic, high quality recipes, with generous portions. The spring rolls are no exception. You can tell they are home made when you get them; amazing. The Curries really are perfected. It’s just a matter of preference. The noodle dishes are very well done. Most dishes simply have your choice of protein. Beef, Chicken, Pork, or Seafood. Then you can choose your heat level (1-5) depending on how spicy you like it. She does a great job of controlling heat, so if you’re worried about it being too spicy just say so. If you want it close to how it’d be in Thailand. Ask for level 5! Can’t go wrong. Highly recommend the Red and Panang Curries. The Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai are both great. If you can’t decide between noodles and curry, perhaps go with the Curry Noodle. Spring rolls are...
Read moreFood below mediocre. The pumpkin curry with chicken overwhelmingly featured full-fat coconut milk making the consistency thick, almost sludgy. You could practically feel your arteries hardening. The flavor of the vegetables and chicken did not pop making me wonder if the dish had been prepared ahead of time and kept in a vat. I could not distinguish any flavor in the carrots or pumpkin. Generally my husband and I love our leftovers from Thai food restaurants, but we both agreed, this was not worth keeping. We both had indigestion afterwards, not a problem when we order this dish from other Thai restaurants. Our indigestion probably stemmed from the dish's over reliance on the full-fat coconut milk. Rich does not equate flavorful. A number of recent reviews say the food quality has been declining. I'm curious why the restaurant doesn't take notice. Newcomers to Thai restaurants may be impressed but those who have checked out the...
