I am a fan for days of Subway, but disappointed to find that when I picked up my on line ordered tuna wrap, I decided to add a salad as it indicated an add'l minimal charge when included with a sandwich. Thinking this most reasonable, I proceeded to do just that. I mentioned that I had intended to order it with the wrap, but forgot.
When the salad was done, I assumed that the cost was, as posted on the drive through outside menu board, $1.39. Needless to say, when I was told it was $6.78, I was taken aback and when I questioned the posted price for a salad with an ordered wrap, the staff member told me that price was only applicable on line.
She apologized several times for my misunderstanding, though I wondered why it was also posted on the drive through menu board, as well. Didn't ask, took wrap and salad and am clear I won't do that again.
If this is the protocol, then indicate it in writing, on line and on the drive through menu board with the appropriate explanation. Otherwise, it is an unsatisfying surprise that the customer is neither aware or appreciative of receiving! Not good business from a company that I have always found customer...

Now several of these places are not taking the coupons we get in the mail! Subway is about to fall off all our lists of places to eat. Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service at nighttime, had an error with the delivery address for my order and my browser changed the address to that of the store and the delivery driver didn't contact me or anything so when I try to reach out to the store to find out what could be done, the phone rings and rings and then picks up and hangs up multiple times. I have to try calling 5 times before someone actually decides to answer and they said to go on the website and 'talk to those people' and to add on to this, them waiting until the last moment to make pick up orders so I could be 10-20 minutes past the ready time quoted and when I walk in, they're just starting to make the sandwich. Been using this location for over 15 years. Not again. I'm done with this location. Staff has really gone downhill...
