I do not take well to being taken advantage of, and that's exactly how i felt here. The food was good. I can say that. It was good. However, the portion oze to cost was extremely disappointing. The cost on the menu for what was supposed to be a heafty breakfast was $18.95. Upon checkout, it was raised to more than $25.00. They said it was due to the cost of bacon, of which you only get 1 (one) slice. So, the cost of that plate was increased by $6.00 for one slice of bacon. It came with 2 oz of syrup for the pancakes. I asked for a little more and was told i would have to pay for it. All in all, i paid a little more than $35 for a single breakfast plate and 2 cups of coffee. Had my wife gotten breakfast, this single breakfast would have cost us more than $70. There is no service here. You serve yourself. But you do know that, until after you check out and leave a tip, because you pay for it when you order. When we picked our table, we even had to grab a spray bottle and rag to clean our own table. So, all in all, i paid more than $40 (tip included) for a $10-12 plate of food, two cups of coffee, had to clean my own table, and serve myself. That's $40 for a single breakfast serving. Not a family meal. I absolutely hate being taken advantage of. Know that i am not leaving this in a fit of rage. This is an honest, calm summary of...

We had called ahead with our mobility and dietary concerns and their staff informed us that it was Diversity Weekend, so they could be busy but they'd be happy to see us. They recommended coming as early as we could so we arrived around 8:30/8:45 and there were plenty of tables available at that time. You order at the counter and then your name is called when your order is ready. Our group was able to snag the back room by the restroom which reminded me of my grandma's living room during my childhood. Board games were available on a corner shelf and a chess board was placed on the coffee table. The staff were incredibly accommodating and answered all of our questions. We ordered the last of the pumpkin pancakes which were the embodiment of fall, wow! The chef even came out to say hello and let us know they were nearing their one year anniversary. By the time we left, all of the tables were full. What a...
