This was our third year at the 5 Ojo Inn. We've never gone anywhere this many times, much less in a row. The 5 Ojo Inn is in every sense of the word a luxury destination on a par with 4 Star hotels we've stayed at. The linens and towels are luxurious. The rooms and suites are immaculate. There was a jacuzzi tub in our room, a sitting room and a beautiful and very comfortable bed.||There is also a hot tub on the back deck in the common area. Further, the deer come right up into the lawn area at dusk to say hello. In years past, it was just a few. However, this year it was 10 or 12 in the little herd.||When we arrived and checked in, we decided we were hungry for an early dinner. we unpacked, grabbed our jackets and stepped opened the door to step outside - instantly realizing it had started raining. We were slightly disappointed that we were going to get wet; it was a short walk to the car in the parking lot. As we stepped out, there laying against the door frame to our room was an umbrella that had suddenly appeared. There was one in front of the door to all the other rooms, too. This is what luxury hospitality properties do - they anticipate needs and desires before they become needs or even desires.||Also, fresh baked cookies were delivered to the rooms each afternoon.||The breakfast was incredible, as always. We were there three nights/mornings and we had a wonderful breakfast each and every morning - different each time.||We had nice meals each day for lunch and dinner, including a favorite Italian restaurant just down and around the corner - walking distance - from the 5 Ojo Inn. There is mass transit that stops at the front door to the 5 Ojo, as well as a tram for guided tours. We parked our car at the Inn and didn't need to use it again until it was time to leave.||Eureka Springs always offers lots to see, eat and drink with a laid back atmosphere that makes it easy to relax, rest and unwind. We highly recommend the 5 Ojo Inn to any individual, couple or family wanting a unique,...
Read moreFor our first ever B&B stay I did an extensive amount of research and 5 Ojo lived up to all the hype. We got a small military discount and they remembered my milk allergy in every way.
The B&B was easy to find and we had assigned parking for our suite, loved that. Due to COVID restrictions check in simply involved going into our room and finding the key on the bed. Check would be just the reverse! We had the Wedgewood Suite for 3 nights in late April and it was exactly as detailed online.
The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and full of pillows. There was ample seating and even a cute tv. Outlets are a little tricky to find and the bathroom eaves can hang low--this is all to be expected in a converted Victorian so we had no complaints. The rooms had good walls because we never heard the full house of guests we saw every morning at breakfast. You're provided sumptuous giant robes at your shower and we used them at the back patio hot tub, and for general suite lounging.
My favorite detail will be the food--hence all the photos of it! We were given little bags of fresh homemade cookies each afternoon, our room got double so I could have dairy-free ones. How thoughtful! Breakfast was delicious and creative every morning, just what you need to get around Eureka Springs' hills. I'll be dreaming of that Cinnamon French Toast for years...
The B&B is an often steep 10 minute walk to downtown, well worth it to see the darling neighborhoods and save on...

But this spot would excel wherever it was located, because the management understands hospitality. These folks could teach a master class on comfort and value.
I stayed in the Honeymoon suite with my wife for our first wedding anniversary. We drank sparkling wine on the porch swing looking out over the ravine. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the shower and tub were clean with great water pressure.
But the biggest perk was how wonderful my vegan breakfasts were. Best example: beautiful baked apple with oatmeal crumble; just egg and vegan sausage with pesant potatoes, and the sweetest wedge of fresh cool watermelon. OMG, the fresh cherry tomatoes were sweet and savory. They even included a vegan cookie withe their signature afternoon treat.
It's such an imposition to be vegan when you travel. To be accommodated so thoughtflly, and with such care is beyond memorable. The innkeeper even sent me back to our suite with plant-based milk for my coffee.
Bravo to this crew....
