The tall skinny man with salt and pepper hair making sandwiches on 10/7/21 was incredibly rude and seems to just hate his life and everyone that walks into the restaurant. We received a pager to notify us when our order was ready, went to a couple shops, then came back to check in - not knowing if we had gone out of range. He barked at me "I've got 3 orders ahead of you" and gave me the stink eye. We are locals. We run two vacation rentals. Whoever the owner is should know his agro employee is running people off. I will never be back and I will never recommend Nibbles. It's a shame because the food is good.
PS - wish I could respond to their response below. Proves my point entirely. So incredibly rude and disrespectful. AND - I know how a pager works, thank you - don't need your condescending remarks (nor for you to fake buzz me while I ask if my pager went off b/c I wasn't sure if I was out of range). I also don't need you to point and not give a word to me when I ask what the soup of the day is. How about you put your daily menu up front where customers can see it instead of behind them when they are standing at the register, Mr. Chief sandwich maker?! If you can't be customer friendly, get out of the front row and let a nice employee with a smile greet your customers. The only person harassing is you. I was extremely polite, even despite how rude you were to me and the other customers...
Read moreThis place it a cute little "hole in the wall" style of eatery. It kind of blends in with the shops as you walk along Spring St. My partner and I were looking for a place we could eat breakfast and happenstanced upon this place. It is tiny. There 6 tables in there with 14 available places for people to sit among them.
The shop was run by two very friendly ladies. One made the drinks and the other cooked. I don't think there is enough space that they could even add another employee to help them if they desired. They were overwhelmed busy as many people would come in and order beverages to go. They had to pause taking tables for a while so they could catch up.
The food tasted good. We didn't get anything fancy so it was a pretty standard breakfast fare. It was rather high prices for not a lot of food. We were hungry within a couple of hours after eating. We were also here for 90 min to 2 hours as it took a while for them to get everything to us.
Overall it was a nice experience. The staff was friendly despite the constant hustle and the atmosphere was cute enough for us to not...
Read moreWe stopped at Nibbles to see their menu and were going to order but one of the employees asked how many of us in our party. We told her 6. She said she couldn’t seat us because they had a party of 4 coming in and they would be closing in an hour so they couldn’t help us. We asked about other restaurants close and she said down by the post office but didn’t know if it was any good because it was new. I understand they have very little seating and had a table reserved But we would have split our party up with two inside and the rest getting something to go but she turned and started talking to the other employees. Their food looks very good but I won’t try them now because I don’t think they need my business since they had an hour until close but couldn’t help us. We did go to So Good Kitchen. Their food is excellent and they are...
