Escape Room 13 — Attraction in Eureka Springs

Great escape! I have played over 300 rooms, total addict, and love the unique props that you don’t see everywhere. Great attention to detail and puzzle flow is smooth and fun. Room is based on a true Eureka event from long ago so it is a true Eureka bonus. You can tell the owner is totally invested in running a quality business. Gamemaster helps when needed do you don’t feel abandoned. I can’t wait until they get another great room open as it looks to be double the fun!

This place is great for families and couples. Like everything in Eureka it has set business hours. You can book online to reserve your own appointment and see their hours of operation. Eureka is such a cool little town and this business is located in walking distance of everything and near lots of good restaurants. If you are lucky you might even catch a parade in town which seems to be a frequent occurrence.

This was my 5th escape room and the 1st I took my 4 and 8yr old into. The staff was just the right amount of helpful, which was needed with half my team being youngins. The hint and timer setup was the best I've seen so far. The escape was doable without clues; given 4 people, but a couple will likely be using hints. The space was well used, themed, and most importantly - immersive. Ive seen other escapes with only 20 combination locks and limited space, as well as large very immersive with many puzzle styles. The super immersive rooms I've done weren't kid friendly and hinged on dangerous. Escape 13 had several puzzle styles, including one I havent seen, and was family friendly. They used decor, puzzles, and storytelling to keep you immersed, and this was done well. The staff watches you closely. I was able to take my 4yr old to the restroom and get back in the game without losing a bunch of time or the mood of the escape. I took my family a couple years back and had a great time. I called today to see if there was rooms available and was told yes. I told the lady on the phone that I wanted the room just for us and asked what we needed to do. She stated they was not busy and I would be wasting money to book the entire room. Drove 45 minutes to try the "Speakeasy room". When I arrived I tried to book the room only to find out I could not. I was told they can only do 1 room at a time. Why would you offer 2 rooms at the same time if you will not allow both rooms to be booked. 2 stars due to the confusion of this trip and wasting my time when the first time was great. I did receive a text about 30 minutes after I left offering me a room. Maybe they can get this fix so no one else has their day ruined. UPDATE, After receiving the response from the owner I now realize that 2 stars was an error. I read the policy and all the rules, but when you call a place of business and describe what you are desiring and THEY tell you how to circumvent THEIR booking procedures and then try to blame the customer.
