Hats Hides & Heirlooms — Local services in Eureka Springs

I had been looking for a hat (pork pie or fedora) for quite some time, but I could not pull the trigger with Amazon because I couldn't try them on. I wear a size 8, so making sure it fit was a priority. My wife and I walked into the shop on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The shop was empty except for us and a salesperson, who acted as if we were interrupting a million dollar online poker tournament on his phone. Bothered as he was, he did offer that "some of the larger piles of hats may have some larger sizes". I was looking for a solid color (black) or something that would go with lots of outfits. I was able to find one, thanks solely to my incredible wife, who literally sat on the floor digging through the piles on the bottom shelves. The store is a wonderful little step back in time with all manner of of designer and fashionable hats. (No baseball caps here) Styles included for men and women, and from daily wearing to night out styles for both.

The proprietor of the show is very friendly and knowledgeable, and got three of our group into great fitting and fashionable new caps.

When we have been to Eureka, my Darling Stepdaughter and l have bought Several hats in your store. l'm afraid it has spoiled me from buying hat ANYPLACE ELSE. I am crazy about hats and l am crazy About your store and your expertise. Now I am looking for a " Newsboy Hat." My Daughter got one for me a year or so ago and l just know she got it at your shop.
