Very quaint atmosphere with elephant theme all around. Just a converted house but the quality of the food is amazing! The strawberry crepe thing (see picture) was to die for! But whatever you do get the bacon, if you like bacon at all it will blow you away. Besides that friendly service and good prices we met two couples that are out of state that come there several times a year! I got the ham waffle crepe looking thing which was fine until I tasted the other dish lol. Come here you won't regret it!!

Bacon and Egg Bagel was absolutely delicious! My wife tried the Nutella Waffles, (I believe they were called) and she really enjoyed them as well. Oscar's was literally 50 feet away from where we were staying in this small, quiet, and quaint neighborhood (less than a mile) off the main drag of Eureka Springs. It's a order, seat, and bus yourself establishment, so if you're looking for full service...this is definitely NOT the place for you! Thank you!

I'm completely in love with this spot. Great unique menu with lots of tasty breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Tons of choices for vegetarian eats. Delicious coffee. Flawless breakfast options (you need to try the cardamon orange waffle) and really delicious desserts. Add in great service and painfully cute decor and I'm sold. Really big fan of the cute dog friendly patio and the wallpaper made of old books (specific to birdwatching).

We went here because of TripAdvisor ratings. Oscar's (he has never existed) Cafe is in an old house in an iffy neighborhood with steep steps up the front and gravel parking in the back and on the side. One friendly person works all dining areas; two rooms plus front porch. Choose your own seating. You order at the cash register after looking at a big blackboard, you get your own water and coffee and a sign asks you to bus your own table. Seating is on bare wooden chairs without padding at all tables but one, and that was in a room that was way too cold to use, maybe 63 degrees, really. I ordered a waffle. It was no more than 1/2" thick, 6" inches in diameter, soft like a piece of untoasted bread, but limper and was only slightly browned only in a couple spots. The rest was the color of batter. The waffle tasted like it had been made with ingredients I never identified, but not flour, eggs, baking soda and oil. It had not risen at all and was so limp and thin, if I had picked it up and held it out level by an edge, it would have sagged straight down. Maybe the unidentifiable taste was the syrup, but something in there tasted like it came from Ork, and baking powder, like Elvis, had definitely left the building. It was flatter than a pancake and thinner than some. The "waffle" was attractively served with slices of banana and strawberry and two excellent pieces of thick bacon cooked perfectly. I question the authenticity of Oscar' high ratings. The only other customers' car in the lot the entire time we were there was, like ours, from...

My wife and I always love looking for new places to eat and we decided to stop here for breakfast on our way to Branson. I have been to Eureka Springs many times but had never seen this place before. We love waffles and after reading the great reviews we stopped in here on Saturday morning. We both ordered a waffle and also an order of biscuits and gravy. The place was very quaint and we loved the atmosphere. The people were friendly that took our order. It took longer than we expected to get a couple waffles when there was only a couple tables of people at the time. But it wasn't too long. We were excited to try these Norwegian waffles as we are looking to actually go to Norway in the near future. Unfortunately I think they sat on the counter for a while before they brought them out because they were practically cold when we got them. The flavor was pretty good but nothing amazing but being cold and rubbery in texture we did not really care for them. We asked for the bacon to be extra crispy and man did they make it extra crispy. Usually we say that and it's still not crispy enough but it was pretty much bacon bits crispy. The biscuits and gravy was the star of the show. They had great homemade biscuits with sausage gravy and that was definitely delicious. I feel like the price was pretty high for how small and thin the waffles are and just two strips of bacon. Should at least get three strips for the price. Overall a decent experience but not good enough to make me want to go back...

This place has rudest staff I have ever encountered. We are traveling from out of town and decided to try this place out. The tables were full so I asked a girl if we should put our name on a list. She replied with we don't do that here, it's fist come first serve and you just get a table when someone gets up. Ok, no problem. We waited. People are expected to bus their own tables, again no problem. After a table opened I asked the staff for something to wipe the table off with, they handed me a dry towel. I then had to ask for cleaner, because I'd like to eat at a clean table. We finally got seated and decided what we wanted to order. I walked up, ordered our food. I paid and asked for a receipt. They use square for merchant services and the girl told me that she couldn't give me a receipt. I explained to her that I also use square at my business and told her how to issue a receipt. She got super mad, rolled her eyes, and called me obscene. She called me obscene multiple times and I told her to just give me my money back. This is the place for you if you want to be treated like trash and clean up other people's...
