Horrible Experience at Burger King – Ignored, Lied To, and Given Wrong Order
Dear Burger King Support,
I’m writing to report one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had at one of your locations.
I placed and paid for my order through the Burger King app — two sandwiches and a drink. I arrived about ten minutes later to pick it up. When I walked up to the counter, the employee working there didn’t greet me, make eye contact, or acknowledge me at all. I waited patiently for about three minutes, assuming she was busy. Still, she didn’t so much as glance in my direction.
I finally asked if an order for Andrea was ready. Without even looking up, she said, “you have to wait.” That was it. I waited another five minutes, still being completely ignored. Then another employee came to get a cup and noticed me standing there. When she asked if I’d been helped, I explained the situation. She went to check, and the same employee — who had ignored me this entire time — lied and said, “I told her she had to wait for her chicken to be made.” She absolutely did not say that.
The second employee found my order — the small bag that had been sitting there the entire time — and quietly handed it to me. My order had been sitting there longer than I’d even been in the store.
To make things worse, they gave me an empty drink cup with a hair on it. When I went to the soda machine, it was filthy and sticky, with no lids or straws available.
I called the store about five minutes later to speak with a manager, and whoever answered thought I was another customer who had just left with a problem — meaning multiple customers had bad experiences in the same short window. When I clarified that I wasn’t that person, they laughed on the phone. That was the response I got — laughter.
To top it off, one of the sandwiches was made wrong and couldn’t even be eaten.
This entire experience was unacceptable — from being ignored and lied to, to the unclean conditions and lack of professionalism. I paid for my order in advance, waited patiently, and was treated with complete disrespect.
Please look into this location and the staff working at the time of my visit. I’d appreciate a response and a resolution for the poor service and wrong...
Read moreI know this is a long review, but please consider it before eating there. I ordered from the drive through and paid the $8 I owed for two mini breakfast burritos, hash browns, and a milkshake. The cashier handed me my milkshake and mumbled "Have a nice day" while leaving the window. I waited and when she came back I gently reminded her that I'd ordered burritos without meat and hash browns in addition to the milkshake. She rolled her eyes and told me to drive to the front. I parked up front and waited 10 minutes (I counted) before overhearing an employee trying to give my order to the car behind me. I waved the employee this way and she actually scolded me as if I was a child! She raised her voice, saying I was supposed to stop at the very front because me stopping in a parking spot made them lose track of things. I apologized and she handed me my bag of burritos. I looked inside and they were breakfast sandwiches with no hashbrowns so I stopped her before she walked away and asked her to correct it. By this point I was a bit irritated. She shrugged and walked away. She returned soon after with a bag of hashbrowns but no burritos so I told her she needed to get it right this time. 20 minutes went by and she hadn't returned so I walked in and there was the employee talking to a coworker with two bags in hand. I became furious! She saw me and slowly made her way over. I grabbed my bag and looked inside. The burritos had meat. I walked over to the counter and called someone over and began explaining my frustration. They clearly weren't listening so I raise my voice until they grabbed another bag to give me. The manager came over and told them that bag was for a different customer and then walked away. I couldn't believe it when the manager just left after overhearing everything. A customer in line asked me what was going on and as I told him, that employee from before started yelling at me to come get my burritos. I looked inside and the order was correct so I left. That was the worst restaurant experience I have ever dealt with! I don't raise my voice like that but waiting 40mins for an $8 meal because grumpy employees kept being careless...
Read moreThis place is the most horrible place I've ever been in my entire life. I have made several complaints to the Burger King corporate Office and never get a reply back. I can only imagine that there are so many complaints about this place they don't have time to get back to all of them.
So I know everybody speaks in general terms so I'm going to give a specific example. Included in the pictures that I have posted with this post is a picture of what Burger King's Philly cheesesteak Burger should look like and a picture that I took of the one I received out the window.
I figured surely there must be some mistake so I drove back to Burger King up to the window and the guy who was working the windows at night called me a "dumbass" and told me that my burger look exactly like the picture they have hanging up in the back as to what every item should look like when it leaves the building. Please look at the enclosed pictures and tell me your opinion.
this is not the first time this has happened the people there are nasty if you have any questions or you return anything they curse at you. I just do not understand why Burger King corporate Office puts up with it I do not want to know why the franchise owner puts up with it. if anyone has any idea how to get a hold of the franchise owner please let me know because Burger King corporate is letting this store do whatever they want when they want.
so if you are not in a hurry I highly recommend bypassing this one and going to the one in North...
