I order some crab legs there was a miss communication on my order what i was pay for. Upon arriving home i realize that what not what i felt i should pay for. I call them and explained the situation . Upon talking to .the .person on the and was told that i could not return my food and the could not take it back. I asked for a manger and was told THAT HE WAS THE MANGER. AND IF I WANTED TO ODER SOMETHING different I could but i would have to pay for it. I hung up and went back in to try to talk to a different person upon entering he said i did not have to hang up i then again ask for a manger he then stated that he was the manger once again .i explained that there was a miss communication. I asked good i get my money back and was told no. He then turned back to what he was doing the lady at the bar didnt even try to talk to me i stood there about 5 min before i was even acknowledged again and was then told that i need to leave no money back no type of compensation for the miss communication. I was then told to leave .Because he was the manger by both him and the lady at the bar who took my order. I then asked is because i am black. I was the only black person in there. I have ate there a few times before and never had this problem. I truly fell disrespect cause if i know if i was white something different would have been done. I will be taking further action! Maybe next time i will put some white paint on my skin and see if i get the same response. There was no customers satisfaction because the MANGER SAID THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO AND HE NOT...
Read moreIf it was up to the service I would have only gave it one star but I won't I have one bad server do that to the restaurant itself. Food was absolutely excellent... But over $100 worth of food at a table five of us, and didn't get our drinks refilled once. My daughter's salad was never brought to, her before her dinner, or after. A dozen mild steamed oysters ordered as an appetizer 10 minutes before our dinner was not brought to us until we were sitting waiting for to-go boxes and thought they had forgot all about them along with salad.. I've been told since if you want good service just sit down and eat at the bar which will be done next time if I don't have a younger child with us. the server even gave daughter dirty looks, Because I noted the salad hadn't been brought out, ever. it wouldn't have been bad except she put us down for 5 orders of frog legs instead of one... We split the difference and kept to we didn't want and the restaurant had to eat two... And again if we did order, five orders of frog legs, dozen oysters, appetizer sampler, and 5 adult meals, we may need to see a refill from our server maybe , once through the meal... Lol... She got served, and even with her shity attitude, she got a $20 bill for tip, and the $2 that she took off for the salad after she said when she was going to and didn't and I repeated myself one more time... Again kitchen staff and the food was most excellent but the lady serving me from The Goonies will never happen again...

We were very much looking forward to the experience, even though the atmosphere is, at best, dumpy. We weren’t acknowledged for a good ten minutes to which the bartender informed us they were short staffed. We watched the bar and restaurant fill up while we waited, and waited, and waited for our food. Everyone around us was being served. At one point, the bartender told us they were waiting on our Oysters Rockefeller—waiting how? As in harvesting them somewhere? After an hour and 15 minutes of dry crackers and even dryer beverages, and several lame excuses later I asked for our bar tab (which I have no idea on earth why we paid that!). The bartender walked away from me in mid sentence. I was being discreet and polite so there was no reason for that behavior whatsoever especially since I suspect she is the one who misplaced our order. Another waitress was much kinder and sympathetic to our situation, and she kept checking with the “manager,” who never made an appearance. This was a total, unprofessional, epic failure. We left hungry and disappointed. Took our money down the road to an establishment with a much nicer atmosphere and certainly more attentive, top notch service. I didn’t feel like a welcome customer at the Oyster Troff; I felt like an...
