Double Take Pizza — Restaurant in Eustis

This was my first time trying Doubletake as my husband had previously tried them at work and was impressed with the quality of their pizza. We have been on the lookout for a different pizza option in the area to deliver other than a chain and decided to give them a try for the family. We were very excited that they would deliver to our location too!

We ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza, Greek salad, chicken parm sub and honey bbq wings.

The Greek salad was 10/10 fresh and delicious. The portion size was amazing for what you get and definitely will be ordering that again.

The sub was also 10/10. I loved the sauce and the chicken was very flavorful. Definitely will get that again.

My husband really enjoyed the wings. I am not a huge fan of wings, but I thought they were good. The wings were not tossed in the sauce, it looked like the sauce was thrown on the top but that’s being nit-picky. Still good!

The pizza was delicious! Again, the sauce they use is very good and has a sweeter flavor. I enjoyed the chew and texture of the crust and that it wasn’t too thick. One thing I did not enjoy was that the mushrooms were canned mushrooms. It’s just not my preference on a pizza. I think fresh is best.

I love their pizza and never thought I would have a negative word to say. Unfortunately, they now warrant a disgruntled complaint. I ordered a pizza for delivery. I was told it would be to me within 35-40 minutes; after over an hour I called to inquire. I was told they had an issue with a different order and they would now be delivering my pizza within another 35 minutes! I had already paid by credit card and asked why they had not called to alert me of THEIR "dilemma". I asked that my order be canceled and my credit card be removed. The "gentlemen" said are you sure? Instead of offering a solution: such as we are sorry pay less or for your inconvenience your next purchase will be reduced by; the guy hung up on me! TOO bad their customer service has...

Based on other people's feedback about where to get great pizza, we tried your pizza. I can say, from a person who does not like red sauce and does not eat pizza often, your pizza has changed my mind. This is the best pizza I have ever eaten. The dough tasted so fresh and homemade. The red sauce was not tart but had a hint of sweetness, sooo good. The toppings were fresh and high quality. We also tried the teriyaki wings! Yum yum! You can have your chain store and high priced pizza. This will be my go to pizza place from now on. Can't wait to try their other reasonably priced menu options.
