El Marie Pizzeria and Sub Shoppe — Restaurant in Eustis

I googled Pizza restaurant in Eustis because I drew a total blank on El Maries. El Maries came up and I proceeded to look at the menu and order. I ordered a large pizza and a small one. I also ordered a Greek salad The lady asked what size salad I said the large then I said which one is the 10.99 is that the large? She said, we don’t have a 10.99 salad I said I’m looking at it right now on your menu. She said no, out salads are 7.99 for a small and 14.99 for a large. I said which one is the 10.99 she said we don’t have a 10.00 I said it’s o your menu. She told me it wasn’t their restaurant I said wait a minute and rechecked… it was to their website. She said oh that must have been from years ago when we only had one size salad. I said well it’s still on your website. She reluctantly said ok. I ordered the 7.99 salad. Then when I went to the restaurant she came up to me still disagreeing with me and had me pull it up. I gladly did and showed her exactly what I did. Google pizza restaurants in Eustis El Maries came up and so did her salad for 10.00 she still argued with me and said I wasn’t on their website. I told her I clicked right on the El Maries name and and showed her again how it keeps coming up. She showed me how to go right to their website page. Which was different than the page I pulled up which was still their restaurant. She handled this terrible. I was right and maybe so was she. But we got there two different ways. She would not honor the 10.99 price when I told her I thought she should. It shows it was 10.99 and she saw it too. She was not nice. She tried to be but it was very passive aggressive and I left very disappointed.. feeling misled and aggravated with how she made me feel. I will not go back there just...

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at El Marie in Eustis twice now, and each visit has been absolutely delightful. The first time, I went with my son who adores their pizza, and the second time, I visited with my husband who is a fan of their subs. On both occasions, I opted for their calzone, and I’m pleased to report that each experience was flawless.

Wow! First visit for my husband and myself; in Eustis at lunchtime, and Googled nearby restaurants. The reviews for this pizzaria were very encouraging, and they were not mistaken. Rainy day, 50% occupancy allowed at this time, and it was a full as it could legally be. Very clean, really pleasant staff. We ordered our favorite subs... Italian for my husband , meatball for me. The meatball only comes in the large size, so I knew I'd be taking some home. My husband also ordered his 'large', intending to do the same. Although prices looked a little high, the amount of food placed in front of us was truly staggering. And the waitress had already put my husband's take-home portion in a bag for him. Wish we'd taken pictures. The sub rolls were artisan bakery bread, huge, and extremely yum. The meatball sub was the best I've had in YEARS. The marinara was excellent, the meatballs large, tender, and flavorful. My husband cut his 'small' plated portion in half, and still only finished half of that. The artisan roll was larger than a standard roll from the usual sub shops, and just stuffed with good meats and fixins. The price then seemed very reasonable.
