THAT Place — Restaurant in Eustis

This was my first visit to this restaurant with a girlfriend. Angie has been there a few times and recommended it was Awesome. My husband and I had never stopped there as it used to be called something else and the exterior always looked terrible so we wrote off going inside. It is now called "That Place" You could spend an hour looking at the menu as the variety is wonderful. Most of the prices in my opinion are far better than any nice bar restaurant my husband and I happen to in the almost 8 years we have lived in Central Florida. There were so many things to choose from but I kept reflecting back to the lobster roll. So that is what I chose and could only eat half of it there was so much to eat I could not possibly eat the whole thing it came with Potato Chips but for just $1more there were 4 other choices of a side dish. The bartender girl also the waitress at the latter part of the lunch Was so personable friendly and fun to talk to her name was Mary I believe she said she typically works every day until 4 PM. I highly recommend sitting at the bar because it is Open and always fun to talk to Mary. I found the restaurant to be extremely clean like it was brand new including the restrooms. If I had only one complaint that would be going up the steps to the restroom We're poster hangings referencing certain sports teams, Having been born raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania I actually attended Georgia tech University and studied Criminal Law. So,being funny I took a piece of paper and wrote GA TECH on it and tapped it over top of "Georgia". By the way for those of you that don't know university of Georgia is in Athens Georgia and Georgia tech is just on the outskirts of downtown Atlanta. Students attending university of Georgia, Known as a party school, They call students that go to the Georgia Institute of Technology "Boss". That's a true story, Question is do you get it?? Bingo lovers hangout. Monday and Wednesday nights at 5. Be aware, the kitchen will be beyond busy before they begin. Crowd is also of that age bracket as a result. Be aware, if you pull up to a yellow building with no signs that is their function room, the real restaurant is across the parking lot and behind the Thai restaurant. Menu was good with wings being the main draw. Charcuterie board was a huge surprise. Much larger than I expected, definitely an appetizer for two people or more. It actually surprised me that the flatbread I ordered was so small by comparison. Friendly staff, but I did hear that the help didn’t come in leaving the poor bartender to wait on nearly 100 people. She never let it show though, and though busy she was able to keep up, left her a decent tip in respect of that. I think I would come on a different day just so that I didn’t have to compete with the bingo crowd. They are well known locally for their catering so you know the menu is good. They also have reserved seating. Highly recommended if you are bringing in crowds bigger than six or are coming on...

Come here almost every Saturday. Service is getting worse by the week.. it was terrible tonight.. I may not return....
