Bud's Rockin' Country Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Evansville

Our first time here and it was amazing! Our server Megan was incredible! She answered all our questions and suggested menu items/options for us. Very knowledgeable and just a ray of sunshine! We started off with the Onion stack rings, diet coke, & Mr. Pibb. Probably some of the best onion rings we've ever had. I have specific dietary restrictions and Megan offered to order me a half of the ceasar salad with blackened salmon/add tomatoes. (Pictured; sorry, I had to take a bite or two lol) It was delicious and so fresh! My husband ordered the full rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and collard greens. I tasted a rib and they're sooo succulent, juicy, and fall off the bone! (Note: If you're looking for smoked ribs, these are just the roasted without the smoke.) He loved his potatoes and his greens were excellent 👌. The menu is huge for a bar and they also have family friendly seating! I noticed about 3 or 4 people who ordered the Bbq sundae which is packed with mashed potatoes, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, and bbq sauce. Which I am is probably heavenly! Megan said that the portions here are pretty large and was she right! I couldn't even eat all my salad (I can't eat that much anyway and I got a half order of the salad.) We came for lunch and left with dinner for later! Excellent food, environment, and if you're there during the day, ask for Megan! They have drink specials and live music at night. We definitely want to plan a night out here. 5 star all around. We'll definitely be back!...

Honestly, I convinced my friends to have lunch here, and I was sorely disappointed by the experience and apologized to them for the suggestion. Probably the absolute worst part was not the empty beer bottles and literal trash on the stage I the middle of the (not at all busy) day, nor the employee standing near the bar sucking on their vape that I'd wager they do not sanitize, but the floor was SO sticky...i could ignore it until I went to the bathroom to wash my hands after handling the menu and the floor in there was even stickier, so much so that I thought my secured hiking boots were going to leave my feet with each step.... The waitress was nice but too new to answer half of my questions and apparently they do not candy their own bacon, as you cannot order any "normal" bacon (this felt like a stab to my soul. Ultimately, we surmised that if they cared so little about the trash and sticky floors, probably the handles to the bathroom door that you have to touch to exit are not very clean either, and didn't feel comfortable with them making our food. Also it is weird that the Mac and cheese is spicy. My friend said the tea was good though. So I guess...

Almost a five star review. My buddies and I have been coming here quite often recently and I have never had an order of food that wasn't fresh, hot and delicious. We have tried most of the menu.

The beers are always cold and good. Even ones that are often skunked due to not being handled or store properly.

Sarah is an excellent server/bartender. Patience of a saint with idiots like us, and is very hospitable. Most of the others are as well. There have been a few who seemed like maybe they had just started and had a hard time getting payment run correctly or took a bit too long to get back to us.

The only other issue is a minor one but the live music can be a bit too loud for the bar. It drowns out everything and it is hard to keep a conversation with people right next to you. There's a happy medium somewhere that could be reached.

The bar is usually filled with younger crowds, but that doesn't bother me. They allow children in until a certain time which also does not bother me. They have a nice outdoor patio area and security doesn't look like they will be kicking your teeth in. That service you can get...
