Lic's Deli & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Evansville

I give it a one because you have to, if you want to leave a review. Today on my way to work, I thought a Strawberry Banana shake would hit the spot especially if it comes from Lics. Boy was I wrong, it was the worse shake I've ever had. I also got one for a girl at she had Chocolate and let me tell you it was a very light tan she said she thought they forgot to add the chocolate. So we wont be back to the one on Diamond ave. It was at 11:37 am this morning. They need to train all of the employees how to make them, it was a young kid working he kinda acted lost.im not writing this in Hope's of getting free ones, because as of now I wont never be back not even for a free one. On 4/25 placed a simple drive-thru order of 2 milkshakes right before they closed (which was my fault, online the hours are different and their new hours are only posted on drive-thru window from what I have seen), and the first female employee with glasses was super sweet and had manners and gave me the first shake, where she noted the second would take a minute, which was okay, and when I got that second shake, the other female employee just handed the shake through the window, said nothing and when I told her "thank you", I received no response, just shut the window in my face. I expected higher manners from them, as Lic's has always been known for their friendliness but this makes me want to drive to a...

I have shopped at this and other locations ... they have multiple in Evansville, and some other cities I occasionally visit.

Universally they have a good variety of food: sandwiches, soup, ice cream. but service is slow, and they are often located where it is difficult to access, sometimes left turn in or out impossible. Invariably their location is such that there are other restaurants nearby whose access in and out is much more convenient, so people will only patronize them to get what the competition is not offering.

They could do better with a small investment in advertising budget, to let people see from a distance what is the soup of the day for example. #AMacReviews #Restaurant...
