Metro Diner — Restaurant in Evansville

This was first time going Metro Diner in Evansville I went to Friends and Family Soft Opening, I big Breakfast with Eggs and Hash browns and I also tried the fish and chips I reheated after week it's still taste fresh and it's wasn't too greasy or heavy. the Fish had great decent flavor and it's was flavorful. and I enjoyed drinking their coffee. And the Staff of Metro Diner I couldn't remember her name but she helpful and patient with me and what I wanted to order. and all staff was constantly checking on me and asking me how my order. I liked the authentic and Decor in restaurant it's feels comfy and clean I can't wait to come back to try the more breakfast, lunch, dinner menu whenever they start serving it. And I got Meet The Operating Partner Chris. I got picture with him to. I want to say thank you so much for invite me for Soft Opening I enjoy trying and sampling some of menu items to. I want to wish and mangmenent and and servers a successful opening and operations and they here to stay bussines venture. And the operator partner Chris gave me $15 Voucher to use cause I asked to if I could take pictures of restaurant and my food I ordered so I could promote them free...

I had lunch at the brand new Metro Diner today for their soft opening/stress test. Everything was fantastic. It was a friends and family event offering a free meal, so they were very busy. Everything ran like a well-oiled machine and we didn’t have a single problem! Our server, Cadence was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked in on us regularly. Several managers also came by to check on us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Amazingly, Chris Wyatt, the managing partner, said they’ve only had a week to train. You’d never know it from the way it ran today. I had the shrimp and grits. It was perfection! The grits were just a little looser than I prefer them, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. The shrimp was cooked perfectly - juicy and tender and well-seasoned. The dish as a whole was a delicious bowl of comfort - very flavorful, just the right temperature, and a generous portion. My friend had the steak tips (sorry I didn’t get a photo). I tried a bite, and they were also really good. Metro Diner officially opens on Monday Oct. 27....

Stopped into Metro Diner in Evansville and had an awesome experience! The breakfast here is fantastic — everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, perfect for starting your day off right.

Our server, Ginger, was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and loves what she does!
