This has been a go to when we look for a chinese buffet in the Evansville area. The food always is plentyful and such a HUGH selection it can't be beat. Over the last year we have eaten here quite more than normal for us almost twice a month and sometimes more! We usually stop in sometime between 12 and 2pm, always greated with a smile and to our table we go. 90% of the time we get servers that interact with us,friends, family and the kiddos in our group which is a plus and on occasion we have the one server that just want to keep our drinks filled, finished plates removed and quick to get us the bill..no harm there either.. We weren't the happiest of diners a last trip we arrived around 200pm everyone enjoyed the time we spent together and the food. We were still there around 3pm and they changed the buffet a little but...we tried a few other items they brought out and one in our party decided to get a plate of crawfish..maybe 20 or so. Shortly after the one that dined on the crawfish got a second bill of 12.00 !! We were just told that's what you pay when you eat the dinner buffet. We tried to explain but didn't change their decision. Lesson learned. Don't eat the newly placed items unless you come for dinner.
Overall always a...
Read moreWe’ve only just went here once, and maybe it was an off day for them. I’ve had my fair share of Chinese buffets and this has to be the worst one I’ve been to so far. They have a wide selection of foods, which is great. The downside being that most of it tasted the same and had an off taste. Went to eat some General Tso, ready to taste the sweet but tangy wonderful chicken, but instead was surprised with this imitation that just tasted off and this was a theme with most of the food. The expectation was not the reality. I’ve eaten these foods many of times and each buffet slightly differs, but this buffet differed so greatly that I questioned whether they’ve actually tasted Chinese food. It’s like someone was shown general Tso, and they created the dish based on looks alone and gave that taste profile to every dish there. I honestly think their water was off or bad, since even the pudding tasted off. Again, we must have come at a bad day, since many people love this buffet. We should give it another chance because of the love for it and how despite my worries that I would get food poisoning, I didn’t, but it was pretty expensive for a buffet and don’t want to...
Read more⚠️ Warning, stay away! This place is so gross, I can see why it keeps getting shut down by the health department. Unfortunately, after not eating there a few years, we decided to go back and give it another chance. Big mistake. We got to go boxes thinking it was $5.90 but written really tiny on the side it says per lb. We were horrified when our food came up to $20 per box! That's the most expensive to go box ever! We could have had 2 delicious plates at Panda Express for less than that. I regret putting the weight of rice and noodles in my box. It was nowhere near being worth $20. The food was also pretty nasty. I only came for the rangoon because it used to be great but they changed it and it's not good anymore. The general tso tasted like shrimpy, fish flavor. I think they should have the health dept come back and do a check again. We ended up throwing out over half the food. Such a waste of money. These rip off places that charge by the pound are a joke and we'll never be back. The food is...
