Tiki On Main — Restaurant in Evansville

All the servers in this place act and feel like they are constantly whipped behind the scenes -- though they put on a good show when serving you --. They certainly have lots of turnover. Also, I'm generally unimpressed about the food in this place save for its soups. Moreover, this place has the WORST BLT in town, where they packed some little pieces of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and one very thin slice of bacon between two slices of white bread, where the bread itself was stiff and curling at the edges. I found no pride in their work.

Even though my office is almost across the street from these guys, and even though their soup based lunch specials are excellent during cold season, I've stopped going (I used to be a regular) there due to the reasons I mention above.

I hope that they improve their treatment of their staff and their food so that I can start going...

Sat for about 15 mins before anyone came and checked on our table to take drink orders. Server said if we needed anything to let them know.....we never got a name.

Was never checked on for refills of drinks once we got food. And food was mediocre at best. Nachos were soggy as hell and onion rings were meh.

I understand that they were gonna have a live band playing and there was a hockey game going on but the servers just seemed disinterested in the customers.

I was honestly surprised I got my food and drinks before doors opened at the ford center for the hockey game and I would be late to get there.

And was charged for a beverage that I was told they were sold out of and they didn't remove it...

I went here on a Friday night and had the bacon burger and fries. The burger is a prime rib burger and it was so juicy i used a bunch of napkins!! It was sooooo good I told everyone and decided to come back the following Monday for dinner with my friend. She had the prime paddy melt and I had a repeat of the other night. UNFORTUNATELY, the same cook wasn't on duty and our burgers had been squished down on the grill so much the burgers were dry and hardly any taste and they were also burn marks from the grill. SO SAD!! I tried to get the name of the cook that made the good burger on Friday but the waitress never brought me his name although she...
