First visited on 12/21. We had a wonderful experience. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Games are fun. Great experience.

On 12/23 one of the two bartenders snubbed us for 20 minutes before we decided to walk out. They served other people and cleared the persons food next to us without even looking at us. Honestly, I’m impressed that you can avoid people that well lol.

Personally, I work in a bar in DC, every guest is greeted on arrival. I get it if you’re busy but there were obviously people who walked in after us and they were served before us. We had a great experience the first time. It’s just sad that even in a smaller town you can’t provide the decency to acknowledge two people.

Response to Mgmt: I get that you’re more busy than normal, I really do, but first of all there were maybe five other people at the bar at the time, we did try to say something and were ignored, plus tried to flag down the bartender before deciding to walk away. What else do you want from a customer? For me to go behind the bar myself to make myself a drink? I swear to you that if you were slammed busy and I had to wait that I wouldn’t be making the review but understand the circumstances it genuinely feels like the bartender caught a bad vibe and was purposely not making eye contact. Like come on you’re clearly the tray of food next to us but not looking at us?...

If you are a human being you will love this place! I challenge you to find a better bar in the Evansville area for great drinks and fun. They have a nice rotating craft beer selection on tap as well as domestics in cans and maybe bottles? They also have quite the liquor offering. Did I mention it is an arcade as well? You may be thinking ā€œSo what? I’ve been to arcades before. What is so special about this one?ā€ All of the games are FREE. This place has old arcade cabinets, Playstations, every Nintendo console predating the GameCube, tons of old tabletop style arcade games (Pac man, Tetris, Galaga, etc), big box racing games like Hydro thunder and Cruisin USA, and an entire row of pinball machines. Every single game is free to play except the pinball machines. It’s tucked away in a kind of ā€œsecret undergroundā€ spot on Main Street which adds to the appeal. Every bartender that has every served me has been extremely personable, kind, and helpful. Last time I was there with my wife there was a boy celebrating his 21st with his parents and they were having a blast.

This is an amazing place to grab some beer and let off some steam by yourself or with a group of friends. Also you can get a bunch of snack food for less than $3! We...

Unique experience, cool and retro games, clean restrooms. Facts: They have a minimum drink requirement for the free gaming (see pic) They have the only true gaming bar in town. They have Nintendo, and other untradional public access type games in addition to arcade based games. Great downtown main street location SUGGESTIONS: The bartenders may want a refresher on how to treat their customers, and pay attention when someone is standing there for 15 minutes while they carry on conversations with friends at the bar and ignoring paying clientele, then get rude when you excuse yourself into their conversation to get your required drinks to play the games, and when serving them, make sure they are satisfied that they recieved what they ordered to their liking... beyond that, the selection of beverages is good, drinks when they are correct are good and maybe start allowing patrons to get a thimble of beer (sample), if you know they are buying something. They have a lot of unique beers, but you have to buy a whole glass and even if you hate it, they will charge, wont replace it without you paying for another, & that may also be thrown in the trash after 1 sip. Kind of sad that way. ;) I'm sure they will correct this, then they...

Stopped by High Score Saloon in Evansville before a comedy show at the Ford Center and honestly? Didn’t expect much with just one bartender and what looked like one guy running the kitchen... but it ended up being some of the fastest and best service we’ve ever had. They were flying around like caffeinated gamers back there. The food was solid, the prices were right, and the drinks hit the spot. I had a Coors Banquet and a shot of whiskey, which felt appropriately rugged while surrounded by pixelated chaos and blinking lights. The best part? Games everywhere. Some free, some take a few coins, but all fun. They’ve got everything from arcade classics and pinball to ski ball, which will humble you in the best way. And yes, there’s even a painting of a Bob-omb from Mario, just casually watching over the chaos like some 8-bit art security guard. Whether you're there to game, eat, drink, or just feel like a kid with better taste in beer, this place is a win. Definitely coming back.

Right off the bat, Lgtbq+ friendly. Love that I wish more places were like this. My husband found this randomly and planned a surprise date night for me here and I was thrilled. 21+ only as it is a bar. Free to get in. Absolutely love this concept. Most games are free, except the Pinball and a few select others. Tons of Pinballs, acarade games, and Nintendo game consoles to play. Beyond Love the random nostalgia decor. The Mask was playing on an older TV on vrc when we were getting drinks and I just absolutely love that lol. Comfortable seating to enjoy your drinks or food, as the have food options. We just had some drinks. We didn't pay attention to individual pricing as we started a tab, for 2 jack n cokes, few beers and a fruity drink we spent about $45-50. Very clean as well. Fast service. The have machines to give quarters as well for the Pinball games. I cannot wait to go back!
