Summary: Absolutely love this place as a super low-key neighborhood spot to get some delicious Korean food for a great price. Expect to spend around $15 per person. Highly recommend this place. Food: This is build your own bibimbap, allowing you to build a bowl typically with a protein, 5 toppings, and sauce on rice. I got the hot stone bowl, with beef, glass noodles, kimchi, tofu, (and a couple other things that I forgot all I know was it was delicious). The bowl comes sizzling out to you and was fantastic to tear into. They have free water and tea available as well. Service: the people behind the counter were extremely kind in helping me figure out the process and recommending things to try. They took care of everything from bringing out the plate, to bringing extra sauces, to cleaning up dishes afterwards. It’s hybrid service, which I like, meaning you order and pay up front, get your food and enjoy, without having to bus your own table afterwards. Atmosphere: very homely, clean, and friendly with a variety of different seating options-two and four person tables, and bar seating by the window facing the street. It felt very warm and welcoming, and just generally pleasant to be around.

Trying the new place. Very clean and fresh inside. Decent portion size. Kind of 'build your own' bibimbop bowls. Tasty selection of toppings, almost all made in-house. Make the selections to build it, then they heat that stone bowl sizzling hot and serve it in a nice wooden box for our protection. I went with brown rice, wife went traditional white. Toppings mostly being house made/prepared meant good flavors and interesting choices. Niceties: wooden temp box, better quality chop sticks, better quality long hollow handle spoons (stay cool), sauces are tasty (mild has a better pepper flavor than the spicy). Friendly, cheerful staff. Noise/music level decent but the space could get loud. Additions I would make: sauces like soy, rice vinegar, something of that nature. Garlic chili sauce or oil. They may have these in the future, still setting up (looks about 98% finished, a couple tables n such going in). A possible sound panel or two can control noise reflections. We'll be back for sure

There I was online, looking for a good vegan/vegetarian restaurants that my girlfriend and I could enjoy together. One simple google search away and we saw this rice bar! Never been to one before, and it was the whole concept was amazing to me. We had to go try it. We set the date and went to sleep early so we could make it. It wasn’t too spacious inside, but it is a small shop, so that’s to be expected. Parking is along the road, it generally isn’t busy there so parking was easy to find. During lunch hour it is packed, so fair warning. We got our food “To Go” due to no seating, and so we ventured off to find a good parking spot for us to eat. The food was great! And we loved it. We want to go back and experience a hot bowl. End result, we really liked it and want to revisit.

Great place to get traditional hot plate Bibimbap. Choose brown or white rice, protein, and 5 “sides” (i.e. cucumber salad, edamame, roasted garlic, etc.). Cook then gets everything piping hot, and brings to you at your table. Each table gets four sauces (mild, spicy, tamari soy sauce, and sweet). The spicy sauce is more on the mild side of the spectrum. I chose beef bulgogi for my protein, which was delicious. I also highly recommend the roasted garlic. Took one star off for general cleanliness of the restaurant, which could use some work.

Visited for lunch in May of 2023 and loved it! We had make your own hot stone bowls and loved the freshness, portions, and how the employees/owners explained the process. I had a white rice base and my wife had a cauliflower rice base. My wife is gluten free and loved how everything they had was gluten free. So many choices! Our toddler had a difficult time eating and the owners went out of their way to help find her something she loved and would eat. 10/10 worth the drive from Seattle for authentic, healthy, and delicious Korean food!

The owners are super nice. It offers the best vegan protein options. The coconut vegan chicken is so so so delicious! The stone option is a must, if you want it hot and if you like crispy rice at the bottom. I also appreciate that they have kids bowl, as not all places offer that. My kid always order a dairy free ice cream or shake. He loves it. We crave this place all the time. Wish they had one on the east side too! Hope that they will open one in Sammamish, Redmond, Bellevue, or Kirkland! We want to eat there all the time.
