A little bit of heaven in downtown Everett. A cultural oasis in an urban landscape with far too few. Beautifully blown glass pieces, oil, watercolor, sculptures, and art of every medium. Great place too go on a rainy day... or a sunny one, for that matter! And the best part is it's free to all.

Schack Art Center is one of those places you only have to visit once to love forever. They do offer paid classes as well, specializing in nany different mediums and forms, all highly reviewed, that I'm really looking forward to.

They also do lots of different exhibits. We've been to a few, and there always awesome. Right now, as of 7/5/20, they have a Graffiti & Street Art exhibit on display.

Right across the street from the Children's Museum. Streetside parking is free but limited, and there are a couple pay lots within...

What a lovely little find in downtown Everett! We wandered in to look at the gift shop and learned that the gallery entery is by donation -- no entry fee. There's just a couple of exhibits but we were really impressed with what we saw. The paintings were beautifully presented with just enough information about the style and materials that we felt we leaned a few things without being lectured at. We also saw a lovely children's art display. Their work was presented as art and it was clear that the center respects and encourages creativity. The gift shop was really nice. They manage to fit a lot of local crafts and items into a small space. We appreciated the friendly and efficient staff as well. Strong recommend. We'll be back then next time...

YOu people of Everett Washington and the Seattle area are so lucky and so privileged that you have the Art Shack right there in your backyard I live all the way in Rainier Oregon and was there for a class and I am so bummed that I do not live next door. If I did I would be there most likely every single week to check out any new arrivals and then also to attend every single event I am so jealous I run a business in Rainier Oregon called Glaze Gifts & Giggles a paint your own pottery studio and I am going to plan my events for the future for my business around their events for I want to try to attend as many as possible thank you for being there thank you so much for being a recycled business kisses...

A great place to enjoy looking at art, watching it be made, learning how to create your own and supporting local artists. Always something new to see. My kids love watching the artists blow glass. A go-to for unique gifts that will be cherished. All visitors must sanitized hands upon entering as well as wear mask. Only so many people are let into certain parts of the store at a time. Employees are very nice and always happy to help or talk art!
