A little bit of heaven in downtown Everett. A cultural oasis in an urban landscape with far too few. Beautifully blown glass pieces, oil, watercolor, sculptures, and art of every medium. Great place too go on a rainy day... or a sunny one, for that matter! And the best part is it's free to all. Schack Art Center is one of those places you only have to visit once to love forever. They do offer paid classes as well, specializing in nany different mediums and forms, all highly reviewed, that I'm really looking forward to. They also do lots of different exhibits. We've been to a few, and there always awesome. Right now, as of 7/5/20, they have a Graffiti & Street Art exhibit on display. Right across the street from the Children's Museum. Streetside parking is free but limited, and there are a couple pay lots within walking distance.

A great place to enjoy looking at art, watching it be made, learning how to create your own and supporting local artists. Always something new to see. My kids love watching the artists blow glass. A go-to for unique gifts that will be cherished. All visitors must sanitized hands upon entering as well as wear mask. Only so many people are let into certain parts of the store at a time. Employees are very nice and always happy to help or talk art!

Schack Art Center gift shops ha a lot of unique art. I also enjoy the gallery but it was not opened when I went on my recent visit. The gallery is also free to visit. I bought this polymer clay puppy for $12. Also, if you ever get hungry there's a great café across the street too!

Schack always has a wide range of artisans work on display, some I like more than others. But no matter how much I like it or not, I feel transported into someone else's mind and soul, trying to see what they want me to see and giving myself a wonderful visual treat.
