JAG ArtWorks Art Supply — Attraction in Everett

I arrived at the store during open hours. The open sign in the window was lit, but the front door was locked. There was a note taped to the door saying to call or text a number and that the store attendant was close by. Implying that calling would summon them over promptly.

I called but after a few rings it went to voicemail with a message stating that the mailbox wasn’t checked often. I sent a text soon after and got a response 7mins later requesting that I give the attendant 15mins to return.

25mins later no one had arrived and 2 other customers had stopped by and been disappointed by this point. I sent out another text asking if I should be expecting the attendant soon. I got a prompt response saying he was almost there. He didn’t arrive for another 16-17mins.

When he arrived, he arrived with a dog in tow and I received perfunctory apology for the wait. He opened the shop door and proceeded to get in a phone call without once offering to assist me.

The experience so far was unpleasant but I think the worst part about coming to this store was finding out that what was supposed to be a specialty store has a very paltry offering and selection of paints. Many of the shelves and racks were barely stocked and were mostly empty.

I highly recommend not wasting your time going here. They barely stocked anything and my time would have been better spent at a Michael’s or...

JAG Artworks is amazing . My wife and I had wanted some art on our shop for years and have spoken with different artist who had no clue and wanted to charge an arm and leg . So we put it in hold . Then driving home one day on Colby Ave in north Everett we see this graffiti on the wall and decided to do a little research to determine who did it and how to get in touch with who did the work . That is how we found JAG Artworks in north everett . As far as our experience working with them it was one of the easiest and most relaxed project we done . The owner set us up with a team of artists and wow where we impressed with there work . I definitely will have them do the entire shop at some point . Thanks to JAG Artworks we got an amazing memory wall on our shop . I would recommend them to anybody for any type of art . A real stand up company with good intentions and wanting to put a smile on people's face . Oh ya did I mention they aren't in it to become millionaires ,but in it to show there amazing work and after seeing the finished product I have no doubt they will be .Thank you JAG and the artist involved we couldn't be happier. I love the sense of community you get when visiting JAG. Every Monday they host their Artlife event to bring artists together who don't have places to do their work. When my GF is having trouble getting the creative juices flowing nothing helps her more than being surrounded by the other wonderfully talented artists that congregate here. I'm not much of an artist myself but the prompts they use during these events make it fun and accessible to all. I particularly enjoyed the Lego night because that's more my speed. The fun and friendly Jason and Natasha are the icing on this cake. Couldn't recommend JAG more for your community art...
