We want our REFUND today! We arrived early for the "Lee Oskar and Friends" Concert on Friday, June 13, 2025 only to find the "Historic Everett Theatre" dark and the doors locked. There was no sign or notice at the box office window or on the "Historic Everett Theatre" doors displaying notice that the concert had been cancelled. We never received any prior notice in an e-mail, voice mail or by any means at all that this concert had been cancelled. While standing outside the locked theatre doors we called and left a voice mail on the "Historic Everett Theatre" box office telephone contact number. We then called again as well as e-mailed the "Historic Everett Theatre" that night and again and again several times afterwards. To date, June 26, 2025, the "Historic Everett Theatre" has not replied to either our mobile phone or by an e-mail. We have asked for a response and an explanation of this really poor customer service. At first we were just annoyed that the "Historic Everett Theatre" would waste our time and gasoline as well as treat paying customers so callously. Now, we are angry as well as disgusted!! How many other people have been stiffed by the "Historic Everett Theatre"? Our very bad experience with and the poor customer service of the "The Historic Everett Theatre" needs to be publicly shared. Don't waste your time or money with "The Historic...
Read moreI am older so I cannot stand up a whole concert. This theatre like so many others, allows anyone to stand in the space about ten feet, between the front seats and the stage lip. If you choose one of the front seats, you will not see the band performance at all with the amount of people standing in front of you. You can see by the pictures here some of the people standing up front, I moved upstairs to take these pics from a location no one can move in front of you. This is the band Helles Belles.
Further addition after the owner responded......
He made this sound like this was my problem and I was complaining......instead, this written as a warning to others and help others not choose front rows of seats. Other older folks SHOULD be warned so they can choose seats that make sense. Those front row seats are tempting because no one is standing in front of you before the show starts. Then people come forward in droves preventing you from seeing. It's a better strategy to choose seats half way back or in the upper level before the show start to avoid the issue. There are other venues where people standing in front of front row seats is not allowed so a review like this is necessary to distinguish. The owner of this place can take a chill pill and I reduced my rating because of the response.....maybe he can sit in the broken seat I sat in near the lip of...
