Oasis de frutas — Restaurant in Everett

The mangonadas were great. If the customer service was better, I’d go back. You don’t realize how much customer service plays a part in an experience until you walk in there and no one is smiling in fact it seems as though you’re interrupting them when you come to pay for a $10 drink. Tone of voice and maybe even a half smile would be great. The first time I went in for a 24oz drink, I was charged $9.09 and given a 16oz instead. Once I said something the cashier apologized but her aunt said something under her voice in Spanish and all I heard was “la negra”. I don’t speak Spanish but nothing in this store was black but myself and I learned a lesson that evening. Call before you pick up your drink to avoid having to be in a place where the vibe is uncomfortable. That’s only if you really want this drink. I’ll be fine my mangonada elsewhere. I would’ve given Oasis De Frutas 5 stars but their prices gave them a 3. Oasis De Frutas is inside a Mexican Cuisine called Tortas Locas. It’s nice, warm and spacious, Good ambiance! Their churro split was delicious, that’s why I went in for to begin with as well as their ice cream. Surprisingly, they have maple syrup flavored ice cream and it hit a core memory from my childhood. I liked it a lot cuz it comes in a good portion as well - (Samoan Portion/eats 3 if you wanna share, I didn’t share mine 😂). My little sister and I were craving something sweet and we found this place. I love the inside of the place omg it had so much space, everything was beautiful and they even had a Halloween dessert (I didn’t get it cause we didn’t want to try anything too new cause the place is new yk ). The little dolls were so cute omg. The guy who was there had so much patience with me (especially cause I was just there taking my sweet time looking at what they had lol) but yeah it tasted so good.
