I go to this spot a lot more than before. I do believe that the pork is the best in the Taco truck business. The guy that normally works the counter on the truck is gone. I will miss him. I never had to tell him my order and I would just have to walk up and hand him 7.50 plus a 2.50 tip and he would call me in about 5 min and I would have my burrito exactly like I like it. Every single time. Now there is a lovely female that works the counter. I told her what I wanted and I got to meet the one responsible for all the love put in to the food. That is what I taste when I eat her pork. I can taste the love she puts in to her cooking. She did not speak English so the lady at the counter translated for me and she at least smiled. Nice lady. The only other thing that has changed since I last went there is the covered area seems a little nicer. The food still tastes the same which is a blessing. It's good. It's not expensive and the portions are large...
Read moreThe staff was so friendly! We ordered eleven tacos, and the wait was about ten minutes. This tells me my food was cooked fresh, and not simply reheated. They offered salsa cups at no extra charge (we received a total of four, I am unsure if additional cups cost more).
They noticed we had our dog with us, and they gave us a complimentary small side of unseasoned cooked asada for him! We didn't even ask.
We got our tacos to go, but they did have an outdoor seating area. I cannot recall if the seating area was covered. There was a clear "no smoking" sign.
Food was fantastic! They served the tacos with some cilantro, lightly grilled onions, and lime wedges.
Incredible experience, food packaged well for a safe trip home (no spills!), definitely...
Read moreThis place was awesome. I liked the tacos and torta but the tamales were surprisingly good. I'm extremely picky about tamales, most places use too much masa and it makes them bland, but these guys do it right. I tried all three and each one was amazing and completely different from the last. Each masa had its own flavor and there was plenty of filling so each bite was wonderful. I don't usually like vegetarian options but the chillies and cheese tamales was superb, my favorite though was still the pork with roasted pork and vegetables. Sometimes, in less well done tamales, the pork is over cooked and turns into just a clump of pork mush but that was definitely not the case here. Please do yourself a favor, for the love of tamales,...
