Been going to this spot since 2010. When I used to live in New Jersey we would come here almost every week. Sometimes even twice a week!

Everything in the menu is amazingly good! We ALWAYS order their special wonton noodle soup with pork, duck and vegetables. IT IS MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE. No place can mimic their wonton and their broth.. it is like no other. Surprisingly living in cali, Hawaii, Maryland, and Va.. they beat them all.

It is a hidden gem to many. No one will know how authentic this place is because it is located in Marlton, NJ which is far from Chinatown in Philadelphia. But they are smart to be located in the nice and richer part of New Jersey. They really make their customers feel like family, and they really get to know their regulars. I even feel like the places in Chinatown cannot beat the service, and food Joe's brings.

We always bring our guests to this spot and it has ALWAYS been a memorable place for many of our visitors.

I highly recommend the wonton noodle soup, special combination pan fried noodles, salted fried seafood, shrimp and walnut, scallion steamed flounder, and the Peking duck.

For groups of 2 or more they have a select list of foods for everyone that features the best of Joe's Peking. It's a must for big groups to get a taste of everything.

Sunday is the best time to go for those who love dim sum, served ale carte.

Now that we are in Virginia we make it a point to come visit this place at least every year. We love...

Not sure what happened to this restaurant and their reputation from years past that everyone raves about. Ordered 2 lunch specials for pickup. Asked for pork fried rice instead of white on one of the lunch orders. Person on phone was hard to understand. We get there and my girlfriend decides to order extra items. Went into the order thinking it would be 20 something dollars for 2 lunch orders. Went next door to check out the donut shop came back and the guy tells me it’s 53 dollars! They charged 14$ for a QUART of pork fried rice because it doesn’t come with lunch, which was not explained on the phone. rice was terrible as well, we were told it would be “phenomenal” it was basically white rice with what comes with pork fried rice. The lunch entrees were mediocre as well. Grandfather chicken and kung pao chicken. Both were bland, sauce was subpar and the kung pao chicken was not spicy as well as there being a whopping 6 pieces of chicken total, with the rest of the box being stuffed with filler items. On top of all this I ended up getting sick from the food. Cash only was a nuisance but negligible in comparison to the price and low quality of food. Plenty of better places to go in south jersey without getting sick. As stated in the beginning, whatever reputation this place had in previous years is long gone and they are riding that to continue business. Avoid this place unless you want bland food for exorbitant prices and an unpleasant day...

I called Joe's Peking Duck to place a take out order for a family member; I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I called back 5 minutes later as the person I ordered for thought the price was rather high and decided to cancel the order. The person I spoke with at Joe's Peking Duck yelled "Your order will be ready in 5 minutes. Don't try it! You can't cancel the order!" I called the person I placed the order for on three-way so that he could explain why he no longer wanted the order. It turns out that he was fine with simply modifying the order rather than cancelling it. The person at Joe's Peking Duck continued to yell that we could not cancel or modify the order and demanded that we come and get it. He yelled that I should have gotten the order right in the first place and he yelled that we better come get it. I immediately asked him who he thought he was speaking to in that manner as he was being very disrespectful. I told him to cancel the order and proceeded to hang up as he yelled "Get the Fu*k out of here!" I understand that having customers change their orders can be frustrating, however, I have never experienced such horrible customer service and disrespect when calling a restaurant. I will NOT be patronizing this...

If you’re in Marlton, NJ and craving flavorful Chinese cuisine, Joe’s Peking Duck House is a must-visit. It’s a local favorite for a reason, offering large portions of high-quality, delicious food at a price that feels more than fair. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s one of those places that’s been consistently good for years. The menu is packed with classic Chinese dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been rich in flavor and made with care. Whether you’re ordering the namesake Peking duck, lo mein, dumplings, or any of the chef’s specials, the flavors are bold, well-balanced, and always satisfying. The portion sizes are generous, perfect for sharing or having leftovers to take home and you get a lot of food for your money. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. The vibe is cozy and traditional, and the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, they keep things running smoothly even during busy hours. If you’re in the Marlton area, Joe’s Peking Duck House is hands-down one of the best spots for Chinese food. Affordable, consistently tasty, and plenty to go around, it’s no wonder it’s such a beloved neighborhood staple.

Had a craving for soup dumplings (siu long bao). The skin was too thick and barely any soup. Would not recommend for soup dumplings. We ordered soup dumplings, wonton soup with roast pork/roast duck, and beef chow fun. The wonton soup arrived first within 5 minutes, the chow fun next, and then the soup dumplings way later. The timing of the food was awkward. The wonton soup was served with the end of the duck near the tail, which I have never seen before served with wonton soup at other restaurants (basically a undesired cut of the duck, one piece was mostly fat). The char siu was tough and lacking taste. The wonton noodles were hard. Maybe I was just unlucky and it was a bad day at the restaurant, but as a first generation Cantonese person I was disappointed and the quality was not what I am accustomed to at other traditional Chinese restaurants. The soup and noodle were too salty. I would not recommend the wonton soup or char siu, better to head into Chinatown for those. The roast duck itself, although not the expected cut of meat you'd find in wonton soup was good. The chow fun noodles were delicious and would order again. May return and give this place another try.
