Big big shout out to Kate Mark and Brianna for the absolutely delicious and healthy food. I posted a photo of the soup which is getting me over the flu. Beyond food they are an anchor in #HistoricMarlton. I see first responders eating here ⛑. I see diversity and inclusion in their workspace. I see an incredible range of food...including Tuna and vegetables, cheesesteak stromboli (genious right?) 🔥, spaghetts and meatbawls (that's the Philly spelling) and obviously warm soul food like the chicken and veggie soup which I posted. Look at that photo...the soup is even better than it looks if that's possible...it has chicken, noodles and veggies top to bottom. They have a complete and varied beverage selection...#cokezero 👍. If you are a grab' n' go or pret-a-manger (tu parle français? 🇨🇵) person you have come to the right place. And I have not once walked in without being greeted with a smile. They all know me by name. They all hustle and beam. Go to Nene's. Delightful. Delicious. And Bright! 🙏...
Read moreI'm not sure why it took me so long to write a review for Nene's. I get takeout from Nene's and everything is always great. We love the cutlets and recently tried their breakfast sandwiches. They are huge and delicious! I haven't tried anything I didn't like here. I also used them to cater my sons first birthday party. They delivered everything and provided the sternos to keep the food hot, all the serving utensils. Everyone raved about the food. I used them to cater Christmas dinner for my family. I am getting ready to order yet again for my daughter's birthday party. Nene's has been so great to us. In 2020 when grocery markets were sold out of everything, they were even kind enough to sell us grocery items. One thing that keeps us coming back is that their prices can't be beaten, but that has never meant a drop in quality. If you haven't been here you have to try...
Read moreWent there with high hopes having heard good things. Arrived and went to the counter to ask a question; the woman behind the counter was doing something on her phone and was “ too busy” to acknowledge me. So I just stood until she looked up from her phone. I ordered a grilled vegetable salad ($15) which was mediocre at best- predominantly arugula and some tasteless grilled zucchini- a few onions, a couple of carrots and balsamic that was far too sweet. But what really got me was that when I placed my order I I had asked for water with my salad and they charged $1.00 for a cup of tap water with ice ( but did not tell me that they were going to charge). I noticed the charge on my receipt ( which I had to ask for) after I paid. In my opinion a significant deterrent to eating there again. Very disappointed in...
