Just had one of the most horrible experiences ordering food from them. I had stopped and picked up food before with no issues. Today I had been dealing with a sick dog so figured I'd make life easy on myself and order something from them for delivery. At 4 PM I did not expect it to be a busy time for them but was quoted 45 minutes which was fine. After 1 hour 20 minutes, I called and was told the driver was coming from Mount Laurel (opposite direction from both the restaurant and my house) and that was why it was taking so long. At this point the driver arrived. I told him no thanks but I didn't want cold food so I wasn't going to take it. He started yelling at me about how busy he has been. He continued to scream at me about how busy he was and that he was not giving me free food. I told him I was not asking for free food. I didn't want the order. He continued to scream about how busy he was and that he was not giving me free food. At this point I got inside my house and locked the door. I don't understand why I was expected to accept cold food because he was so busy and then have been subjected to his anger and yelling. I called and asked to speak with the owner/manager who would not speak to me on the phone. The girl I spoke with was willing to make my food and send it out with another driver but said it would be another 45 minutes or I could have driven to the restaurant to pick it up myself. So my easy dinner idea of ordering from them would have turned into an over 2 hour wait plus the 5 minutes where I was screamed at by their driver about how busy he was and how he was not giving me the food for free which I never asked for. I declined their offer and will not be stopping in to pick up food again. The delay in the order and the cold food I could have gotten past and given them another shot but having been yelled and screamed at by the driver left me shaking and is not an experience I want even the possibility of...

The entirety of the sandwich was cold. The temperature of the sandwich was as if they pulled it right from the fridge and wrapped it up. The swiss cheese looked nothing like swiss, but as far as presumably artificial cheese with swiss flavoring goes, yum.
A decent amount of bacon and a decent amount of chicken. But the amount of ranch on this thing. Oh man, lemme tell you about Sal's designated quantity of ranch dressing. Imagine a world where Ranch dressing was nowhere to be found. Sal's Pizzaworks was the last source of ranch dressing in the entire world. Despite the rarity of this resource, they mistakenly advertised sandwiches containing ranch for a reasonable price. In an attempt to rectify this mistake, they developed a procedure where they could minimize ranch usage, spreading a layer of ranch one molecule thick across 1/3 (2/3 of one side) of the bread. That's how much ranch I got.
As far as the sandwich goes, 2.5/5. However, I was impressed by their care and ability to give me the quantity of ranch that they did, so overall 3/5.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered from there last night and we typically get great food and delivery service. The driver knocks on the door and says be careful the bag is a little wet. Here half of the tray of wing sauce poured out into the bag and was dripping all over my floors.
After opening the bag I noticed that they has jammed $69.00 of food into just one bag. Look I am all for consolidating when it makes sense but not when you have hot and cold foods and trays that can leak. I also am aware it's football weekend and everyone is ordering out, but that was a bit of a shock to me. They also sent me two of one item and then omitted two other items.
I called and voiced my concerns and the woman who answered my phone understood my concern and why I was upset. She asked if I wanted credit for the missing food, but we were also watching football and did not want to worry about ordering more food from another place. I just asked that we receive what was missing and to my surprise they resent the entire order.
Great customer service and this is a place that knows how to correct an issue. We are happy to say we will continue to order from Sal's as we live...
