East Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Ewing Township

My family and I just today (as I am writing this) ordered their lunch special. My mother recommended the food because of her past experience with this establishment. Got our food, we were missing a carton of rice and two of the three we received were half full. My brothers' meals were disappointing at best. My mother was satisfied with her order expect for the messing carton of rice (we shared with her because who wanted to drive all the back to an establishment to pick up something that should've came with the order to begin with), but I was highly disapportment with my meal. I ordered the Chicken Tempura which had other things that came with it like "like fried squash, broccoli and something unknown that looked like chicken or fish that I ate." The meal was bland tasting, I only had a half of carton of rice, and most places that give you wonton soup would give you three or four wontons, but NOOOOOOOO, this place give you a "small wonton in a half" with it mostly being soup. I have been to places that the quality was there but was not worth the price, but when you go to an establishment that both is not worth the price nor the "piss poor" quality of the food, I highly will not recommend this place to a soul and this place either need to switch owners that care about its customers or need to shut...

I have been craving sushi and found this place searching online. I read the reviews which were favorable and decided to try someplace new.

The restaurant was very clean and transitional without any pretentions. The woman at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I picked a few sushi rolls, standard chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Everything was perfect. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The pork fried rice had large pieces of moist pork, the egg and onion were freshly prepared.

The Broccoli with chicken looks delicious and is enough for two people easily.

Really nice place for lunch or dinner. Gets a a little crowded but has lots of seating. Parking lot can accommodate enough vehicles but it is in a strip mall so spaces fill up fast. Owner is very friendly and always is there. Lunch deals are fantastic. The Chinese food and the Sushi are both top notch. I usually get the hot tea and water for beverages. If you like it spicy like I do ask for the hot chili oil on the side. It goes great with the soups and meals. Prices are competitive and the decor really looks great albeit some may find it dark for lunch but dinner may feel more romantic. When I'm in Ewing I usually come here for lunch...
