On Monday around 10:30am or so, there were a lot of customers but at least 4 tables were available and the waitress (age mid 50's or 60's) was with a customer and saw us then went to another customer, we waited at least 1 - 2 mins to get a table. We finally sat at the table and people came in after us like seconds later. Then a different waitress (age mid 60's - 70's) started serving the people that came after us as she took their orders. We waited for a waitress to come but nobody came for 20 mins even though there were at least 4 or 5 waitresses there. I couldn't wait any longer so we decided to leave cuz I couldn't wait that long and I had places to be. I went to a different IHOP the next day in PA and they severed better and quicker than I expected even though I didn't have places to be on that day. I was amazed by the quick service and attend to our table to check up on us if we needed anything while we waited for our food & after we had our food. However, the last time I was at this IHOP in Ewing was like a couple of weeks ago and it was better than it was on Monday which was not what I expected. I know IHOP is hiring and in need of workers but still, it could've been better. Sometimes this IHOP has a good day and other times a bad day. I just hope everyday is a good day and can improve the customer's...
Read moreHorrible food. My food came with pork products , I don’t eat pork so I asked for a meat that’s non pork meat. The menu says your choice of bacon or sausage and doesn’t specify if it has to be pork or turkey. The manager said I had to pay more because Ihop’s cost of turkey is more expensive than pork. So basically I would have to eat pork and risk my health or go without meat with my breakfast. The manager said the corporate people of Ihop changed a lot of the products and the menu and they don’t care about their customers likes/don’t likes because they are going to merge with Applebee’s and become a powerhouse. Well, I don’t know about you, but I think if a company doesn’t care about the food choices I am paying for then I won’t give them my money because their are plenty of other places to eat that value me as a customer. Then my hash browns and eggs were on a plate filled with grease. I had to take napkins and put the food on it to soak up the grease. I felt like I was eating/drinking a bottle of cooking oil. The crapes I ordered weren’t hot. All in all it was a disappointment and a waste of money. I would rather seek out the smaller pancake houses and get...
Read moreI generally enjoy my eating experience at IHOP but this IHOP in Ewing has to be the worst I have ever been to. Let me start by saying I called before going to ensure there wasn't a long wait I was told there is no wait at all. I get there not even 10 minutes later and there is a 10-15 minutes wait. Strike one! I get seated and the silverware is dirty. Strike two! When my food comes out not only is the portion smaller than every other IHOP I have been to, but it's cold too!!! Not just a bit cold either, no it seemed as though it had been sitting for a good 5-10 minutes before it was brought to me. Literally ruined my experience on Mother's day no less. I ordered avocado with my eggs and the avocados were browning as if they too had been just sitting out for a long time before being served. Strike three and four! This store needs to be retrained they give the food chain a very bad look! It was just horrendous!!!! Then too top it off they have the nerve to charge more like they have superb service or something!! It was just a...
