Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Ewing Township

I called this Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard after eating dinner in the shopping center- and asked if one of my favorite flavors would ever be made( chocolate covered strawberry ) to my surprise they said they had it tonight! We were half way home and we turned around. They waited for us to get there and not only gave us what we ordered but a taste of this flavor above ( strawberry custard) which was amazing - I met the New Owner and her daughter and the owners daughter was so sweet and gave me another of my favorite ice to take home. She also told me that I can request a flavor and they would make it for me! I highly recommend this Rita's. Get better flavors! They always have the same flavors (fruit) and none that I really wanna mix custard with let alone make a blendini with. If you had more flavors like mini chocolate chip, chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, fudge brownie and so on then you would sell more because there would be more possibilities for customers to make their creations with. Ironically, I’m not a huge water ice guy. I like gelati but I can take it or leave it. The reason I go to Rita’s is the frozen custard, cream ice & concretes. I just wish there was more of a variety of flavors available daily but other than that, the quality & consistency is impressive. I’m always left wanting more.
