Always delicious and the people are welcoming & attentive. Definitely a favorite of mine in Fairbanks.
Update: this is one of my favorite restaurants in Fairbanks. I also recommend The Thai House, Banks Ale, & Brewsters. I've had a couple times where my food just wasn't right & I couldn't help but say something.... normally their food is absolutely delicious with the exception of 2 occasions, 1 pick up & 1 dine in.
Once it was greasy & the flavor made me ask if they switched chefs.... My entire $135 order was 🤢 my children refused to eat the food & it went to waste. I called & they genuinely apologized & asked if I wanted a replacement.... I opted to pick it up the following day. I went the next day & without question my entire order was replaced & was their usual yummy standard!!
The second occasion we dined in with friends & the shrimp fried rice ordered by my husband & friend was dry and not up to par... I said something to our waitress & the owner came over and replaced both orders in to go boxes (per our request) because we were just ready to go by that time. Of course the kids were happy to get the leftovers that weren't eaten lol and the replaced items had juicy prawns & was again back to their yummy standard. Not all places are gracious when you tell them their food wasn't right but after 2+ years I have never had anything of the kind at Aha. I HIGHLY recommend this place for authentic...
Read moreServer is incredibly rude! My first visit the service was ok and the food was really good. The second time was horrible! My friend had some questions about the drinks and the server would respond so rude. She asked what drinks the syrups go in and the server just didn't respond to her question. So I told my friend I think they go in the Italian sodas. So my friend ordered and the server responded "no" and I was like what do you mean like you don't have that syrup or it can't go in that specific drink? She says no we don't have any of that. So my friend orders a Chai and the lady says no only Thai tea, so my friend orders the Thai tea. They pretty much don't have half of their drink menu but the server won't explain that, she'll just be super rude and short. First time I ate here the food was atleast good, this time the spicy dish wasn't spicy and tasted very fishy. After she dropped off our dishes she didn't try to check in with us, we had to flag her down for another beer, and she'd forgotten my side of rice that the dish comes with. As we were finishing the last bit of food she came over and started clearing and cleaning the table without saying anything or asking if we were done. All of us were very disappointed in the food and rude service. Never...
Read moreWas looking for Pho while visiting Fairbanks. Google said the business was open until 8pm. DoorDash also allowed for online ordering so we put in an order at 7pm and Ubered to the restaurant by 715. When we got there a VERY unfriendly lady told us the kitchen was closed and tried to shoo us out all while sitting two others in the business. We explained we had already placed an online order just for pickup but if she didn’t want to cook it then she needed to decline the order with DoorDash for our refund. She then had a change of heart and decided to make the order, but not without slamming things around the kitchen and yelling at us that she wasn’t taking any more orders. The food was mediocre at best and would have gladly just taken the refund to avoid the atmosphere and the verbal lecture of the employee. We explained they needed to notify DoorDash and to turn off their “open” sign if they didn’t want customers. While there two other customers came and went without service and another DoorDasher was attempting to pick up an order and was turned away. We made a complaint with DoorDash for those expecting the business to honor their order, they...
