I got some fried rice and some dumplings and it took a little bit, I started to wonder what was taking so long as my buzzer rang, I was given my food with a smile and upon smelling it I genuinely thought I was given the wrong order because it was so wonderfully fragrant. I opened it up to check and took a bite of probably the best fried rice I've ever had. I understood immediately that the reason it took longer than I'm used to is the fact that this is like nowhere else I had ever been. These chefs put their whole heart in their meals and you can tell! This is perfectly mediocre. The egg rolls were badly burnt and the "pad thai" I got barely resembled this amazing thai dish. It had 3 cabbage leaves, questionable purple splotches, no real vegetables, and the sauce was more of a tamarind and vinegar sauce than anything to do with real pad thai sauce. The chicken had 0 seasoning and was fried with oil so it was rubbery and bland. Red curry is my favorite comfort meal and I order from here often, however the past few times have been such a let down. the rice is always soggy/mushy and there is hardly any taste to the curry. I also ordered it a little spicier this afternoon and funnily enough it tasted less spicy than usual. after today I will not be ordering from here anymore, and I would advise anyone else with texture issues to steer clear as well.
