My first 1 star review. Today was truly a disappointment in the customer service - I have been a good paying customer for the past year here and have referred many friends to come here. Today I put in an online order ahead of time and showed up on time. I waited for 10 minutes before the cashier asked me if I had ordered. I said yes and told them my name for the order. She then proceeds to print my order then and there and tells me to go outside and wait for another 20-25 minutes and puts my ticket behind everyone else who had just placed there order in the store. I told her I had put my order in now 30 minutes ago and I didn't understand why my order wouldn't be expedited - especially considering I had already prepaid and tipped ahead of time. To my disappointment I had called the manager or the owner's phone number listed on Google to express my disappointment with the service I did not receive and paid for. This person was even more rude and kept saying "I have another call" and hanging up then calling back and hanging up. I went back inside 25 minutes later and my order was finally ready. He then calls back and says "Yeah your orders in the front waiting for you on the table you need to go get it - sorry okay I have another call" and hangs up again. He then called me again 15 minutes later to ask me if I got my drinks and said "okay sorry bye" and hangs up again. I understand that in the service industry comes hiccups and mistakes. By no means I did not expect things to be perfect but to be dismissed like that as a paying client was beyond rude and uncalled for. I will not be going back here due to the lack of service and the terrible way they handled the entire situation. If the owner does not care about his customers thoughts and concerns in my opinion there is no reason to support a business like this. Underwhelming would be too much of...
Read moreI've visited this location before and enjoyed the passion fruit mango, but there's always been an unpleasant smell in the store that hits you as soon as you walk in.
On one occasion, I asked a worker if I could order the boba separately, and I was told it was possible (and I paid for it). I've only done this a couple of times because sometimes I crave the flavor but don't want the added sugars and lack of protein. However, when I visited today, I noticed the worker who greeted me seemed new and didn't fully understand my request. She went to ask the manager on duty (who was just doing her job, so I won't name her here), and I was informed that they can no longer provide boba on the side.
When I asked why, the worker didn’t know, so I asked to speak with the manager directly. The manager explained that the owner, Susan, had recently changed the policy after seeing me order it that way. While I understand businesses need to make changes, it was disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Customer service could have been handled better. The manager could have apologized for the inconvenience or at least offered to fulfill the request this time, with a clear explanation that it wouldn't be possible in the future. That would have gone a long way in keeping me as a customer. Fortunately, there are other boba tea options nearby, like TeaDo, Teas’n You,...
Read more==== Nov 2023 ==== And the ramen vending machine now works! The soup is super thick and full-body. The noodles are what you should expect to get from a ramen machine and they are QQ but I'm more jealous than anything because I only wish there were more of these ramen vending machines decades ago. Ramen vending machines are just genius.
Original Aug 2018 ==== [🤔 Update] As of August 2018, this is my favorite bubble tea shop. We just returned to Sharetea and just take a look at the line 20 min before opening in pic ..... Wow. And it's only Wednesday. 😱
🥁🥁 Hard to find and only at Sharetea: Taro Milk boba drink ..... made with fresh mashed taro. 🤘
With bubble tea cafes sprouting all over, this place is the only place where you can find authentic flavor of tea in your bubble tea. While most places morph your drink with crazy powders or syrups based off one or two carafes of brewed tea (black, green), this place has close to 3 to 4 carafes of brewed tea bases used for your drink. What is more is that this chain is one of the originals with tea, ingredients, recipes from TW, birthplace of bubble tea. Plus boba are just right and flavorful. Lastly, it's close compared to TenRen Tea in Maryland where the tea in bubble tea is...
