I should preface by saying that sushi is my favorite food, and I've eaten it all over the country. The sushi at this place was a real mixed bag. Some things were done really well, and some were not. Ultimately, I won't be returning.

Had dinner there on Saturday evening. Arrived before 8 and felt rushed from the moment we sat down. The owner is very nice - have been here several times and the sushi is amazing - owner didn’t recognize me and I had no problem with that as I have a different and gray hairstyle now. I brought a friend who lives sushi and I had always raved about this place. The food did not disappoint but the service and reception certainly did.
Two waitresses converged on our table to take a drink order before we were settled in. The pressure was on. While we were looking at the sushi menu they kept coming back, asked twice about appetizers and I ordered something quickly to get them off my back. The second waitress all but marked our choices for us with the dry erase pen on the sushi menu, and told my friend there were pictures on the other side of the menu as if we couldn’t figure out what we wanted. So pushy and disrespectful.
There were two other tables still eating when we left - being rushed was ridiculous and our waitress seemed to question me that I would take 3 pieces of sushi home.
