I recently visited a Nepalese-owned Peruvian chicken spot in Fairfax, Virginia, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm lighting and comfortable seating.
The star of the show, of course, was the Peruvian chicken, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned with just the right amount of spices. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a crispy skin that added a satisfying crunch to each bite. I also appreciated the variety of sides that were available, from the classic rice and beans to the more unique options like plantains and yucca.
In addition to the food, I was impressed by the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff. They were always willing to answer any questions and offer recommendations, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this Nepalese-owned Peruvian chicken spot to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal in Fairfax. Whether you're a fan of Peruvian cuisine or simply looking for something new to try, this restaurant is definitely...
Read moreWeâre out of town guests and make sure we always visit Little Peru. Today was a particularly odd encounter â we ordered 4 entrees, and to our surprise, not only were their famous green and yellow sauces missing, but we found two strands of hair in two separate entrees! Two out of four! We called the restaurant, and while the woman offered to remake the items for us, we were so annoyed that she: a) made us show her the hair when we brought the food back (which we did, but we have dark hair and found blond hair); and b) responded with âit happensâ. Woman. It HAPPENED. Not sure whatâs happened with the quality of this place, but we were thoroughly disappointed with the visit. QA needs to make a comeback because I canât be driving back and forth to get my food remade.
ALSO, one of the entrees we picked up the second time was missing an ENTIRE piece of chicken! So not only did we waste time and energy, but we were at a net loss. If anyone has alternative delicious Peruvian chicken restaurant recommendations, weâll...
Read moreThe chicken was mediocre at best - very disappointing for Peruvian chicken. I ordered the whole chicken with 4 sides. The yuca was old and stale - no matter how much sauce I dipped it in. Plantain was not cooked enough - it soft, soggy and slimy. When I got home, I realized he only gave me 3 sides. It was possibly because he was talking on his phone with his air pods in his ear the entire time he was taking my order and filling up the containers with sides. I take full responsibility for not noticing I was missing the 4th side, but he needs to give his attention to his customer. I did call them and he said, just come back and get the 4th side - 30 minutes (round trip) and probably a gallon of gas later I had my missing side. I usually keep my ratings no lower than 3 and this one was really tough to keep it there. I hope they take this as constructive feedback...
