We had a party of ten with a reservation last night that was originally 13 and I called earlier that day to let them know we would be less and that we would have our party show up earlier because the dinner was a surprise birthday dinner. On the phone, all seemed fine, however when we arrived with the birthday girl I was immediately told by the rest of our party that we had a two hour maximum at our table. I made a cake and the manager came up to tell me there was a cake fee of $45 dollars, which is outrageous as that is often more than most restaurants corkage fee. Regardless, I agreed to pay for it. The drinks were fine and we had at least two rounds, and we ordered appetizers and all had entrees. I want to be clear, our server for our table was awesome and pleasant so this complaint is NOT about her service. However, once the appetizers hit, there was an element of rush the whole time we were eating. Constantly people were coming by to take away plates and it only got worse when our entrees came out. A male server (loud, skinny and blonde) and the manager would come to take plates while we were still eating and often would interrupt to do so. I don’t know if there is a shortage of plates in the restaurant or you were rushing us to finish, but regardless it was obnoxious and aggressive. I want to be clear, at no point was there a wait at the door and there was space open at your bar and booths as you continued to seat people. So as someone who grew up in the service industry and well into my 30’s, I can do the math on our bill and tell you you profited from us from gratuity included, to multiple drinks, to appetizers/entrees and your ridiculous cake fee more than you would have by just rotating two tops of our combined table, so you should think about that when rushing a party. And if you can’t accommodate a party of ten, then you shouldn’t have taken us as a reservation. Additionally, when we were leaving we had boxes to go, flowers, a cake etc and were trying to gather to leave. The same male server was trying to clear the table and got an attitude about us standing and trying to leave bc he couldn’t be smart enough to say excuse me to get through. Overall, your food was fine enough, drinks were delicious, and the place is a great atmosphere but your manager and male server were the worst part of our night, offensive and shouldn’t work in the hospitality business because we were an easy party and you treated us...

Read moreSo very sorry to post this ad spouse has eaten here many times and is on Chamber Board. For her birthday I was looking forward to Asian cuisine and upon initial entrance was greeted with skepticism. - I own a highly trained PTSD Service Dog that the hostess correctly inquired if he was a Service Dog. Anyone who does not know the ADA stipulations for a Service Animal should research them. Her initial question was within guidelines but the staff should've been trained on what could be asked and what shouldn't.
She asked me to produce Identification for the my Lab. WRONG. No such thing is required. She stated that the "owner" of this establishment was allergic to dogs therefore I was not to be allowed entry.
After tactfully explaining that these were not valid reasons for denial of a highly trained Service Dog - I produced both ID Cards and certificates for this Dog and informed them "allergic" matters were not covered under ADA Law. I handed the hostess a card which explained all of this and the specific sections of ADA Law on Service Animals- though they wouldnt accept.
We chose to eat elsewhere for her birthday and vowed never to return again. I calmly and educationally attempted to educate this staff on Service Animals but they didn't wish to accept it. I served in Iraq and was exposed to 3 IED blasts which I sustained a TBI and PTSD from the horrors of war
NOTE: The interior temperature had to be lower than 60 degrees because I had to return to our vehicle to retrieve a coat. It was then I was confronted by the hostess and manager - who denied access for us.
Not much for writing reviews but thought if this effects any other Service Connected troops with Service Dogs they'd know they're not welcome here. I could've called Law Enforcement but it was my wife's birthday. I intend on informing the local restaurant chamber of...
