Wish I could give this company a 0. An ignorant woman refused service to a disabled woman with a service dog. I am contacting the ADA and reporting you. The woman claimed she didn’t “look disabled “ and rudely kicked her and the service dog out. Do you have ANY CLUE how many disabling conditions are invisible? I will not say what illness the young girl who got kicked out has, but let me give u some examples. One major one - CANCER. Cancer is invisible and a silent Growth! How can you tell if a woman has a very good wig on, hiding the fact that she gets chemotherapy?! (Again, this is an EXAMPLE, the woman who got kicked out doesn’t have cancer, but what she does have is serious, as I know her personally). Severe epilepsy is another example, it’s invisible and would warrant a service dog. Autoimmune diseases for the most part are INVISIBLE 🫥 and can be DISABLING. I have one of the above mentioned conditions. You might want to stop judging people!! A lot of times, you don’t know someone has cancer unless they tell you! Some good makeup and a high quality wig, you’d never know! Shame on the woman who did this. Karma. One day you might be the sick one, and I hope the world treats you the exact same way you just treated this customer. You just pissed off an entire community. Remember, cancer grows silently, you might not know you have it until it’s too late, and NO ONE deserves poor treatment. (Again, the customer didn’t have cancer, I’m just making an example here, as it’s not my place to say what disability she has). How nice it must be to be healthy enough to work, something the sick people WISH we can do. We wish we didn’t have to suffer. Shame on you. God sees all, and he doesn’t like ugly. Have the day you deserve. And remember, karma. Also, I see you bark back on negative reviews- it shows you can’t take criticism. What a self centered egotistical Brat you are. I’m sure you’ll bark back to this so you get the final say, but don’t worry, enough people already know what happened here, you pissed of an entire community honey. Instead of being so rude, try being grateful that you aren’t sick yourself. Disgusting. Your true colors are showing and it’s not cute.
Edit- it was not ME! I am her friend. But wow you have a bad attitude. You need mental help. Your business is blasted on TikTok in case you’re late to the game. It went viral. The chronic illness community is pissed. Again, reporting you to...
Read moreI appreciate the environment that they have created here. I used to work at a vegan restaurant and our vibration was so high there and that's what this place reminds me of but there is so much more too because I have been evolving in the in-between time. Wu-wei has re-ignited my passion for creativity, music, poetry and exploration of who I am using the tools they have, such as affirmation cards. The menu is kind of complex when I was new to it but since I have explored, a few different options in the sections of the menu I have been finding things that I like. Some of the things I've tried have been like a little overpowering but I know that different brains need different things stimulated at different times so it's all about getting to know myself and what my body need. What an amazing space to be invited into so warmly! And events are also inspiring and make me want to do better at expressing myself to the world in a kind and compassionate way.
When I feel like I want to be creative and be around positive people that support the mission love and care and respect. Everybody and their individualities are celebrated. Going there helps me relieve stress with the tea and explore what nourishes me. There is a woman there that is currently organizing movie night that is every Wednesday and they also have open mic on Sunday where they turn the normal raised eating area into a stage where it seems magical people shine their talents on everyone that is watching. But the vibe is also so chill that you can move around freely without really disturbing people. I can't believe I didn't really know about this place but that's how spirit usually works for me. So it's been my new little safe place to just go and be around high vibe beings I feel so lucky and blessed because people travel from all over and end up at Wu-wei so you never know who you're going to run into! And the fact that the whole place is set up so that it's a communal vibe is also very pleasing to me.
Check out Wu-wei if you haven't already and if you like what I've said then you...
Read moreHonestly the vibe here can’t be beat. If you like cozy tea temple vibes you’ll love this place. The vibes are friendly, artsy, and relaxed. There’s cushiony places to sit inside and wooden benches with string lights out back. The first time I came, it was an event night and it was PACKED. We felt lucky we found a seat to squeeze into. This second time was a non-event day, which felt much more spacious and peaceful. We had many seating options and chose to sit outside. I should note we came in a bit past 9pm. This place is open until 10pm and a fair amount of people were hanging out until the very end, though was not crowded. The service was warm and kind, offering us heavy blankets for outside and recommending favorite tea mixes. Perfect place for an intimate chat. I had the super charged maca stallion elixir and felt so revitalized by the combination of that warm drink and the peaceful atmosphere outside. The drink was very cacao forward and I liked that. My friend got the pine pollen elixir, which was more floral and light; kind of tasted like what you’d imagine a moonbeam to taste like. I still liked mine better because chocolate! As a fun side note: My friend and I also made a bit of collaborative art together by dripping some of our elixirs onto paper, tilting it around, and taking turns adding some colorful accents. Highly recommend bringing some journal or art supplies here because when you’re feeling relaxed and peaceful, it’s a great time to engage with...
