We shared the ribeye and two dozen oysters. Both dishes were good. Oysters were $96 for two dozen… eek on the price point. They were good but small… I think I’ll stick to my favs (murder points) rather than splurge for these (we got a mix of all 3 they were offering - AL, FL, and Canadian). Ribeye was expensive—good but I wouldn’t order again just because I feel like (hopefully) there are better items on the menu. I should have known better than to order a ribeye at a seafood place anyway but I was craving steak. The manchetta starter was good until it cooled off, at which point it became stiff cheese with arugula. The crab claws were very good. We’d definitely order those again. The drinks were really fast out and pretty good, especially the purple haze! The old fashioned tasted like straight bourbon, which my husband liked okay but wasn’t for me. The whiskey pomegranate cocktail was pretty good though. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. I enjoyed it. It was a good split between pudding and bread. I felt it was more pudding-y while my husband argued it was more bread so I guess it’s hard to say. I enjoy a more pudding-y bread pudding myself. The service and speed of order was superb. Price point definitely on the high side. Overall, it’ll probably be awhile before we’re back just because we weren’t blown away despite spending $340 with tip (that’s 6 drinks, 2 apps, 2 dozen oysters, 16 oz ribeye, and 1 dessert).

Stop what you are doing and make a reservation for Pearl!! We visited with some friends from Louisiana. We had been to a few other restaurants around town but nothing held a candle to the meal we had at Pearl. We truly wanted to try everything so we split a lot of the appetizers between the four of us. Pictured is the smoked tuna dip, oysters, seared tuna entree , hush puppies (with honey butter-YES) and Brussel sprouts. Not pictured was the marinated crab claws and the blue crab fried rice. We all agreed that we had one of the best meals ever. I highly recommend making a reservation. They were a little behind but nothing too dramatic, probably an extra 10 minutes but nothing to ruin the evening. Erin, the owner, made sure that our evening was nothing short of amazing and her husband was the chef in the back. Overall we were highly impressed with the cleanliness, hospitality, ambiance, and the food!! Highly recommend!

While they don't take reservations and are open for both lunch and dinner, this is a "must" if you are near Fairhope! It's a small and quaint atmosphere, and every single staff member is the epitome of southern hospitality. We sat at the oysters bar and loved seeing all of their food options. Highly recommend the raw oysters, roasted oysters, hush puppies, Brussel sprouts, strawberry salad, and crawfish rice. I hope next time we have room for dessert, as it was amazing! The General Manager, Erin, was super knowledgeable and very personable. Everyone was truly working hard to ensure everyone had a great experience.

“Pearl” is the perfect name for this Gem in the heart of historical downtown Fairhope. The quiet, quaint establishment with a relaxed atmosphere set the stage for a perfect dining experience. I was impressed with the professional wait staff, and Skylar did an excellent job guiding us through the menu from start to finish. Our table of four began with house specialties, Crab and Pimento and Crab Claws; both with exquisite flavors. The Roasted Oysters with a tangy, flavorful sauce were delicious. For the entree, the Redfish Half Shell was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to perfection, and the Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever eaten. The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Look no further Fairhope, if you are looking for exquisite food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be! Too bad I live...
