Have been going here since the day it opened. The one day I asked for a smoothie just to try something different I immediately regretted it. It tasted horrible and I came back through the line to return it and was told that they do not give refunds. They insisted on giving me the manager Brandy's number and I gave her a call but no answer. I was out of a few bucks after returning the smoothie but not getting my money back. Once I got in touch with the manager after only calling twice she bashed me for calling and said to me "Are things really that bad in your life that you have to call and beg for five dollars". I responded by saying to her my life isn't that bad but I figured since I left without a smoothie she'd maybe offer for me to go get another one. Then she went on to say "Okay well you're not getting your money back and your not getting a FREE smoothie" She also said that she should be the one asking me for her money because of the cost it is to make the smoothie in the first place. I ended up getting emotional on the phone and after mocking me because I broke down into tears I finally hung up. I've never been made to feel so small in my life. I am 8 months pregnant and no I'm not in dyer need for my five dollars back, but I felt the least I deserved was to be talked to as a human being. People don't talk to their pets as bad as Brandy the owner talked to me. I took the time to write this because I see it's the only power I have in the matter. Brandy I hope you're reading this and I pray that God opens your eyes one day to see how badly you treated me and how I didn't deserve the response I received. Also to add one last thing to make you feel better, my three year old son was in the back seat and had to see me cry after how badly you spoke to me all because I called about a refund. Now everyday we drive by your establishment and he's begging me to go get him a Choc O laka kids smoothie, I have to explain to him that we can't go there anymore. Read moreI normally order the smoothie bows which are like my favorite things for lunch. I ordered them at least twice a week . I placed the order today for 2 smoothie bowls. Drove back to work. My drive which is five minutes away. and When i started to eat my smoothie bowl, it was completely melted. To the point it poured out and spilled. I called and complained, and the manager told me there was nothing they can do, because they do not issue refunds, that the order shouldnt have melted because they made it . The order was melted because it was so hot outside. And that's just the way it is, so I could not receive A. Refund. I told her that that was unacceptable. I then spoke with the owner Shanna who told me that unless I brought her the product I would not receive refund because she would have no way to know if i had eaten the bolws.I stated that I had the receipt and what was only on an hour lunch break. Read moreBe weary if you try to use a paper coupon and you pay for your smoothies with the smoothie king app. I tried to use a buy one get one free paper coupon and was told they had to scan the qr code in my app to use the coupon. This made no sense to me because when you scan the qr code it is going to pay for my smoothie and you still haven't put in the coupon. I couldn't see the charge on my cc until I got home and checked and I did get charged for all smoothies. The next time I was at the location I pointed this out to them and the guy at the window went and got a superior and she proceeded to let me know that she didn't believe my story. This was obvious. I even asked her if she thought I was trying to essentially steal a smoothie from her and who would do that and she told me that I would be surprised at how often this happened. At that point really didn't know what to say. I showed her the other half of the paper coupon and asked her to at least take my name and number and ask the employee if it was a mistake.
